I was torn between these and the eleveit metamorphosis...same price...the eleveit had better ankle and heel protection and a nice fit, but they were made of a harder synthetic material. I chose genuine leather and goretex and quality! Size 46 was too small, size 47 was slightly bigger than it should be (I think).
In the end, size 47 with an extra insole and...perfect!
I should also mention something important, they can be adjusted to wear inside or outside pants. Perfect

I bought these boots in 2009. What can one describe...
Absolute balance between protection and comfort. Endless hours of rain (complete waterproofing), snow, ice, the combination of grain leather on the outside and Gore Tex on the inside leaves no room for weather elements. The ultimate insulation (only in city movement during heatwave I haven't worn them, but I'm sure they will perform well there too).
The study of the boot surprises you every time! Sturdy construction that makes you feel very well protected without the usual stiffness. The lacing around the foot fits like a glove, providing the flexibility that an everyday boot gives you in walking. (you get off the bike and go to work, you get on the bike and go on a trip or a walk in the city). Serious protection for the shin and ankle with internal protectors. The grip of the sole on the bike gives you confidence, while the grip on the road (dry or wet) is almost magical (the first time I wore them in the rain, I was amazed - suction cup!). As for the price... I bought them for around 250 euros and they have paid off ten times and they still look like new. Mud, dirt, dust, ready with just a brush. EXCELLENT quality of materials and construction, after so many years, no signs of wear! I still wear these and if I ever need to replace them, which I don't see happening, I would buy the same ones again.

The choice was made purely because of its excellent fit on my foot, as I had tried several similar styles from brands such as Alpine Stars, Dainese, Spidi, and Forma. It is quite high quality, but I would prefer the ankle protector not to be like a sponge.
