See allOpinions are mixed, but many users find them easy to install and effective on snow or ice, especially in emergencies and at low speeds. They’re also described as a practical, quick solution for city use, with good grip in mild conditions. However, several users report that they break or come off quickly, cause severe vibrations, and can be difficult to install and remove.
There is no 0 star unfortunately. They broke in the first few meters. I had bought them 1-2 years before I needed them and when the time came, I had to take off my gloves in the snow, otherwise I couldn't "feel" the strap that I had to pass through the rubber, very difficult. You need to have quite thin fingers to manage it; my wife helped with 2. After we managed, they broke in the first 50 meters all together. The car was banging. Logically, in 1 meter of snow where the car doesn't move anyway, the vehicle wouldn't be banging. I cried over my money.
I haven't used them yet. But from the reviews I read, they are said to be unreliable and get destroyed after the first use!!! Only time will tell!!!
They did well in the snow and ice. To remove them, you need to have a tool, for example, pliers, to push the clip forcefully and unfasten it.
In the snow now (Elpis-2022).
1) They are not easy to put on because you have to embrace the rubber.
2) They created vibrations on the rubber.
3) To take them off, I needed a hammer to hit the metal clasp to release the strap.
4) Some metal nails were lost, which are the ones that do all the work, so now I can't be 100% sure that I will be able to reuse them.
Overall, they are not worth it.
Awesome and easy to install!
They don't damage the tires and don't have the rattling of metal chains.
And with their bag so they are not scattered in the trunk.
