Initially, I wanted a clamp for amateur use. The trigger-type ones didn't inspire confidence due to their plastic construction. But I wanted this type because they are dual-function (clamping or spreading/expanding).
I chose Irwin because, along with Bessey (top in clamps) and Dewalt, they have a good reputation. And from first contact, that's what I see. Good quality plastics and definitely heavy-duty construction.
Also, from YouTube reviews I watched before ordering, in testing the clamping force barely exceeds 300kg. So it approaches conventional screw clamps. For €37 it is very VFM if you want a good brand and heavy-duty.
If you want something more economical but good and with about half the clamping force, there is also the basic Irwin Quick Grip series at around €20-25.

Αν θες κάτι πιο οικονομικό αλλά καλό και με περίπου τη μισή δύναμη σύσφιξης, υπάρχει και η απλή σειρά της Irwin Quick Grip στα 20-25€ περίπου.
