The remote control doesn't catch a good signal with the TV for any command. You have to press it multiple times to make it work. You can't hold it down for a command (e.g. to lower the volume), you have to press it one time at a time. It annoys me.

It looks exactly the same as the original remote control that was included in the TV package (Samsung), which, due to extensive (many years) use, showed wear and malfunction. Unfortunately, the new remote control does not seem good at all: it does NOT appear to connect via Bluetooth, it does NOT communicate properly with the TV (Samsung 40 inches), except only when it is in a very specific position and angle in front of it. Its operation is inconsistent and requires repeated pressing of the buttons even for the simplest adjustment (e.g. VOL Up/Down).
It is possible that I received a defective piece.

At least one function that is essential in a remote control and it doesn't have is the ability to press and hold a button (channel or volume) to give the command. It doesn't do that, and you need to press it multiple times.

Very good. To connect it, you don't need anything, just put the batteries and point the remote control towards the TV and it simply works. It is lighter than the original. The original is made of better material.
