"These works by Akis Dimos hold a special place in his dramaturgy, as well as in the journey of modern Greek theater. Not only because their heroes are young—under 35 years old, nor merely because they are torrential, full of force and tenderness, feelings and truths, with a dry poeticism that makes them absolutely impactful.

They are works that brought to the stage the truth of their time (and not only), the questions and the uncertainties that were not easily expressed from the stage until then. They are works for the now with an open window to the tomorrow and that, while they can very well belong to Greece, open the window to the world, as they lack strictly local color.

The works of Akis Dimos laid the foundations for building a new theater that stands on life without describing it, that celebrates it without sanctifying it, and judges it without condemning it. The works of Akis Dimos are songs of lost loves and coming loves, of dreams that faded and those that are born, they are our youth and our victory over time.
