Description

Designed for gaming with intense and fast-paced rhythms

The Asus monitor is ideal for those seeking a quality gaming monitor. With a fast response time of 1ms and a refresh rate of 165Hz, it offers an exceptionally smooth gaming experience. It features FreeSync technology to eliminate screen tearing and unstable frame rates. Player-centric features such as GamePlus enhance the gaming experience, while GameVisual provides various preset display modes for optimizing visuals in different types of games.

Refresh Rate 165Hz

With a refresh rate of 165Hz, fast-moving graphics are not a problem. There is no disappointing delay, so you have the upper hand in first-person shooters, racers, real-time strategy, and sports titles.

Asus Extreme Low Motion Blur

There is also Asus Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology that makes moving objects appear even more intense, making the game smoother and more responsive.

Adaptive-Sync

AMD FreeSync

The monitor features Adaptive-Sync technology (AMD FreeSync) that eliminates screen tearing and unstable frame rates, providing you with smooth graphics and seamless gaming.

GameFast

The input delay on an LCD monitor is usually much smaller than a television, and the Asus monitor features GameFast input technology for further minimizing input delay. This technology provides much faster motion performance, so you're always ready with in-game action at the precise time you need to respond as quickly as possible.

GamePlus

The monitor features the exclusive GamePlus access button from Asus to provide you with in-game enhancements that help you make the most of your game.

This feature was developed in collaboration with pro-gamers, allowing them to practice and improve their gaming skills.

GameVisual

The Asus GameVisual Technology features seven preset display modes to optimize graphics for different types of content. This unique capability is easily accessible through an access button or the monitor's settings menu (OSD).

Rich connectivity

It features extensive connectivity options, such as DVI-D dual-link ports, DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI(v1.4), so you can connect it to a wide range of multimedia devices. It has a slim 1 cm frame ideal for immersive and panoramic gaming settings.

An intelligent cable management design feature located at the base of the screen helps you organize and conceal cables to keep your gaming area tidy.

Flicker-Free

The Flicker-Free technology reduces flickering to provide you with a comfortable gaming experience. This minimizes eye strain and potential eye-related disorders when you are engaged in long, extended gaming sessions.

Ultra-Low Blue Light

The Asus Ultra-Low Blue Light technology reduces the amount of blue light. You can access and choose from four different filter settings on the screen easily through the OSD menu or the DisplayWidget UI to find the best one that suits each task.

I bought it for 219 final price with shipping in the previous days, to replace an old 24-inch Viewsonic VA2231wm.

Very good and clear image. With a little tweaking in the graphics card settings, I made it run at a resolution of 1920x1080 at 165Hz, but it seemed excessive to me, so I lowered it to 120Hz (mainly because I program on the computer, so even 60Hz is fine, but since I play for 4-5 hours a week, 120Hz is great for both).

The menu is a bit strange, but you get used to it easily, although it requires some searching to find the perfect settings for your eyes. The FPS counter on the screen is a bonus (instead of in-game, and it doesn't have any impact on the computer).

It is compatible with GSync, even though it is for FreeSync.

Regarding viewing angles: I can see perfectly from the sides up to 175 degrees. After that, the colors start to distort, but we're talking about a VFM low-budget Gaming TN panel.

    Two negatives:

    - In some of the screen presets, the text becomes indistinct and tiring for the eyes, so if you find settings that suit you well, simply save them in one of the Favorites in the screen menu for easy return in case you want to "play" with the settings.

    - The screen is too low for me, so I will have to buy another stand, mount it on the wall, or change my desk (but it consumed the last money I had for purchases, so I will endure it like this for a while :P)

I consider the product VFM clearly. The response time is incredible, I saw a big difference in fps games. Bought it for 250 with shipping, I believe it is the most value for money and given that it is a gaming monitor, it is not intended for watching movies or general use. The only negative thing I can point out is that it only has one HDMI output, so if you want to have 2 devices connected with HDMI, you will have to change the cable and you can't simply switch them through the screen.

Purchased for 250 euros due to Black Friday. Very satisfied. It also comes with a display port. Very good menu and user-friendly. 144Hz straight out of the box, for 165Hz it requires a custom resolution. The only complaint is that the stand only allows vertical adjustment of the viewing angle and you cannot adjust the height. Nevertheless, it is fairly decent for a budget gaming monitor.
