They did something wrong with my rocking chair because the metal plate that cuts properly should touch the base, but as shown in the photo, this cannot be done because the depth adjustment tongue is too big or the nesting hole is too small. The result is that nothing can be adjusted! What a shame.
After 3 hours of struggling and fixing it 3 times, I think I brought it back to its good condition

I have it just one day.
Another Silverline plane seemingly has the same characteristics, the only negative being that the packaging was old and the oil it had on it needed a little effort to remove, and especially the plastic handles which I personally will change. Anyway, I am an amateur and I see it as a short challenge, you can buy it, I don't think you will find anything cheaper.
The most important thing and for this reason I gave it 4 stars is its heavy body, which makes it good to use. I prefer it a thousand times over a lightweight plane with a body made of flexible iron.
The only thing that needs time to see is how good the steel of the iron is, although it should be average to okay. For sure results and if you are reading this review and don't want to get something you are not sure about its performance, get a spare Stanley blade and clean it.
Overall, it's fine, I don't expect to have problems from the first glance I gave it.
6 months later: the body needs work, although it is good, you have to work on it enough to make it flat. The steel of the blade is decent but it needs sharpening, nothing strange, it happens with expensive ones too. The parts also need some work to be good.
In conclusion, I would still buy it now, given that it is cheap

Very good racket for the price it has, it outperforms even more expensive ones in its category.
