I got the C2 but unfortunately, I don't have my old concealer to compare. I think the shade is correct. It covers perfectly and applies nicely with my brush. If you have oily skin, don't worry. It's not oily... It dries and hydrates... Fine lines naturally do show but that's something that happens with all concealers that have coverage.
