It was connected to an old Digital IQ aftermarket unit that I had installed 5 years ago, the reason I did this was because this unit with its 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 was non-functional and slow on Google Maps and Spotify.
The dongle was immediately recognized by the Samsung S24 Ultra, automatically downloaded all necessary updates to the unit, and connected. Everything works perfectly and quickly.
With the limitations that Android Auto entails compared to an expensive, new Android unit with 8GB, €400 and questionable future support, this dongle is really worth it, as it allows heavy apps to run smoothly and frees you from the unit's hardware.

I found a problem, when I use Android Auto maps, I don't get voice notifications from the car speakers. I managed to make them play from the phone and that would be OK for me, but then Spotify also plays only from the phone, so that's not a solution. I tried everything, in the end I contacted the "manufacturer" who referred me to the store where I bought it!..

Εντόπισα ένα πρόβλημα, όταν χρησιμοποιώ τους χάρτες του android auto, δεν έχω φωνητικές ειδοποιήσεις από τα ηχεία του αυτοκινήτου. Έχω καταφέρει να τις κάνω να ακούγονται από το κινητό και αυτό θα ήταν για εμένα ΟΚ, αλλά τότε και το Spotify ακούγεται μόνο από το κινητό, οπότε αυτό δεν είναι λύση. Δοκίμασα τα πάντα, στο τέλος επικοινώνησα με την "κατασκευάστρια" εταιρία, η οποία με παρέπεμψε στο κατάστημα από όπου το αγόρασα!..
