The plastic disk carrier (with the USB 3.0 interface on the outside and SATA on the inside) has holes for disk mounting screws (screws for the disk are not provided, use M2X2.5mm or equivalent for HDD). The screwdriver included in the packaging belongs to the "toys" category - not tools, but it gets the job done once. If you have a better screwdriver, use it. Do not tighten the small black screws too much, which are intended for the small plastic side cover, they may strip.
To investigate: The product was probably faulty. It gave unacceptable speeds when copying large files from PC to the Raidsonic Icy Box IB-273StU3-B, on Windows 10 (x64 mainly but also x86 on other PCs), with USB 3.0 port and specifically with Intel (R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller (port on my laptop).
Laptop specifications: HP 250 G4 6200u, 8GB, Samsung 850Evo SSD.
The copy started at high speed, then dropped to zero and the copy froze. It seemed like it ran out of buffer and got stuck (?).
With USB 2.0 & 3.0 port and/or Windows XP to 7 (on other systems), it behaved like a typical enclosure and had typical USB 2.0 & 3.0 speeds, respectively.
In general, sometimes it worked properly on USB 2.0, sometimes it worked slowly on USB 3.0, and sometimes the laptop froze during the copy of large 1GB files (sometimes with freezes for 5 minutes or more(!), which led to frustration for me and a hard reset for the laptop).

Very bad. After 3 months of use, the contact broke and I had to shake it to connect, until it eventually stopped working. I do not recommend it.

I expected much better in terms of appearance and usability... it is more "plastic" than it seems (although this is its small problem). The main negative is the connectivity (at least in mine). The USB on the side that connects to the PC does not make a good connection, I have to apply it a little further out in the port, and generally with small movements of the cable, it easily disconnects. In short, you should not touch it at all when it is in use...

In general, sometimes it worked properly on USB 2.0, sometimes it worked slowly on USB 3.0, and sometimes the laptop froze during the copy of large 1GB files (sometimes with freezes for 5 minutes or more(!), which led to frustration for me and a hard reset for the laptop).
After many tests and cable swaps, different disks, different PCs, and operating systems, I found a similar review of another company's enclosure with UASP controller: erratic performance (3/5 stars customer review of external enclosure 2.5 case with UASP), which describes what happens approximately (without the freezes). Proceed with caution.

και έχει UASP.
Θετικά: κάτω κάλυμμα από αλουμίνιο, ωραίο μπλε Led-άκι
λειτουργίας, χωρίς περιορισμό χωρητικότητας δίσκου, παρέχεται
χρήσιμη θήκη μεταφοράς (από δερματίνη), UASP, καλή τιμή (κάτω
από 15 ευρώ).
Μέτρια: Τυπική ποιότητα κατασκευής.
Ο πλαστικός φορέας του δίσκου (με την Usb 3.0 επαφή έξω και SATA
μέσα), έχει τρύπες για βίδες στήριξης του δίσκου (βίδες για τον
δίσκο δεν παρέχονται, χρησιμοποιήστε Μ2Χ2.5mm ή αντίστοιχες για
HDD). Το κατσαβιδάκι της συσκευασίας ανήκει στην κατηγορία
'παιχνίδια' - όχι εργαλεία, αλλά για μία φορά κάνει δουλειά. Αν
έχετε καλύτερο κατσαβίδι χρησιμοποιήστε το. Μην σφίξτε πολύ τις
μικρές μαύρες βίδες που προορίζονται για το μικρό πλαστικό
πλαϊνό καπάκι, μπορεί να 'κλωτσήσουν' οι βόλτες.
Προς διερεύνηση: Tο προϊόν μάλλον ήταν προβληματικό.
Έδινε απαράδεκτες ταχύτητες σε αντιγραφή μεγάλων αρχείων από pc
προς το Raidsonic Icy Box IB-273StU3-B, σε Windows 10 (x64
κυρίως αλλά και x86 σε άλλα pc), με θύρα Usb 3.0 και ειδικά με Intel
(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible ost Controller (θύρα του φορητού μου).
Προδιαγραφές φορητού: HP 250 G4 6200u, 8Gb, Samsung 850Evo SSD.
Η αντιγραφή άρχιζε με μεγάλη ταχύτητα, στην πορεία έπεφτε σε μηδενική και η αντιγραφή
πάγωνε. Σαν να έμενε από buffer και κολλούσε (;).
Με θύρα Usb 2.0 & 3.0 ή/και windows XP έως 7 (σε άλλα συστήματα)
είχε συμπεριφορά τυπικής θήκης και τυπικές ταχύτητες Usb 2.0 & 3.0 αντίστοιχα.
Γενικώς πότε δούλευε κανονικά σε Usb 2.0, πότε δούλευε αργά σε Usb 3.0 και πότε πάγωνε το
laptop κατά την αντιγραφή μεγάλων αρχείων του 1 Gb, (μερικές
φορές με κολλήματα για 5 λεπτά και πάνω(!), που οδηγούσε εμένα σε
εκνευρισμό και το laptop σε hard reset).
Μετά από πολλές δοκιμές και εναλλαγές καλωδίων, διαφορετικών
δίσκων, διαφορετικών pc και λειτουργικών, βρήκα κριτική
παρόμοιας θήκης άλλης εταιρείας με UASP controller: erratic
performance (3/5 stars customer review of external enclosure 2.5 case with uasp), που περιγράφει περίπου ότι συμβαίνει, (χωρίς τα παγώματα). Προχωρήστε με προσοχή.
