It did not lower the temperature as much as I expected. It went down by 3 to 4 degrees, but to be fair, I did not remove the stickers from the disk in order to not void the warranty. I installed it on the Kingston A2000 SSD 1.0TB M.2 NVMe. From 44 degrees (during a heatwave), it went down to 40 to 41 degrees. It is possible that the heatsinks on top and bottom of the disk are doing a better job. Nevertheless, I consider 4 degrees to be good for the disk.
