The box as a device may be good, I don't know! I chose it based on its RAM to run the software smoothly and it does that without any problem! The purpose for which I bought it was to install the new Cosmote TV application to watch! But, I didn't know that it doesn't work on rooted devices! I thought I would search the internet to unroot it! And I tried everything! Magisk Manager, Super SU, simply unroot, it tells me I don't have root, but it finds the installed BusyBox, which I read somewhere is the reason why Cosmote doesn't work! The firmware in general is a mess! I tried flashing from scratch, updating, nothing! Cosmote detects root! I'm frustrated! If anyone has a solution, please share it! I know this is not a product review, it's more of a question, so please show some understanding!

The Cosmote TV app doesn't want to cooperate with the box! I opened the box, after bricking the device by installing an unsupported ROM! I short-circuited the NAND chip, installed a custom Android TV ROM, it still detects it as rooted! Is there anyone who has the box and has made Cosmote TV work? Money wasted! I'm fed up!

After 2 months of dealing with the box, ROM changes, and experiments to make Cosmote work, I realized that nothing is needed and the solution is very simple! If you have downloaded the Cosmote TV application on the box, big mistake! Delete it immediately! Reflash any ROM you want! I am now using the original (useless, of course, that's another issue) ROM and the update 20200901! Remove the box from the Cosmote TV devices! Perform a factory reset on the box but do not download the application from the Play Store! Go directly to the page on Chrome, log in with your credentials, and Cosmote TV will work normally!
I'm coming back after a long time to tell you that anyone who wants to buy it to watch Cosmote TV can do so without second thoughts because the problem has been solved simply by changing the ROM as soon as you open it from the box! This is the Mi box software, which you can install normally and it is official! Finally, Cosmote doesn't detect it as rooted!
Το box σαν συσκευή μπορεί να είναι καλή, δεν ξέρω! Εγώ το επέλεξα βάσει της RAM του για να τρέχει το λογισμικό χωρίς κόλλημα κι αυτό το κάνει χωρίς πρόβλημα! Ο σκοπός για τον οποίο το αγόρασα ήταν για να εγκαταστήσω τη νέα εφαρμογή της Cosmote TV, για να βλέπω! Έλα όμως, που δεν ήξερα ότι δεν παίζει σε rooted συσκευές! Είπα θα ψάξω στο internet να κάνω unroot! Και τι δε δοκίμασα! Magisk Manager, Super SU, το simply unroot, μου λέει, δεν έχω root, όμως βρίσκει το BusyBox εγκατεστημένο, που κάπου διάβασα ότι είναι λόγος για να μην παίζει το Cosmote! To firmware γενικά είναι ό,τι να ναι! Τι flash απ' την αρχή έκανα, τι update, τίποτα! Η Cosmote βλέπει root! Έχω απηυδήσει! Όποιος έχει κάποια λύση, ας την πει! Στις αξιολογήσεις εδώ λέτε ότι λειτουργεί με Cosmote! Εγώ παιδεύομαι 3 μέρες μάταια! Δεν είναι αξιολόγηση προϊόντος, το ξέρω, περισσότερο ερώτηση, γι' αυτό δείξτε επιείκεια!

Το Cosmote TV app, δε θέλει να συνεργαστεί με το box! Άνοιξα το κουτί, αφού είχα κάνει brick τη συσκευή έχοντας βάλει ROM που δεν υποστηριζόταν! Βραχυκύκλωσα το NAND chip, πέρασα custom Android TV ROM, πάλι το βλέπει Rooted! Υπάρχει κανένας που να έχει το box και να έχει κάνει το Cosmote TV, να δουλέψει; Πεταμένα λεφτά! Έχω σκάσει!

Παιδιά μετά από 2 μήνες ενασχόλησης με το box, αλλαγές στις ROM και πειραματισμούς για να παίξει η Cosmote, διαπίστωσα ότι τελικά δε χρειάζεται τίποτα και η λύση είναι απλούστατη! Αν έχετε κατεβάσει την εφαρμογή της Cosmote TV στο box, μέγα λάθος! Διαγράψτε τη αμέσως! Κάντε reflash οποία Ρομ θέλετε! Εγώ τώρα χρησιμοποιώ την αρχική, (για πέταμα βέβαια, άλλο θέμα αυτό) rom και το update 20200901! Αφαιρέστε το box από τις συσκευές της Cosmote TV! Κάντε αρχική ρύθμιση του box αλλά μην κατεβάσετε την εφαρμογή από το Play Store! Μπείτε κατευθείαν από τη σελίδα στον Chrome, συνδεθείτε με τα στοιχεία και η Cosmote TV, θα παίξει κανονικά!
Επιστρέφω μετά από πολύ καιρό στο box για να σάς πω, ότι όποιος θέλει να το αγοράσει για να βλέπει Cosmote TV, μπορεί να το κάνει χωρίς δεύτερες σκέψεις, γιατί το πρόβλημα λύθηκε απλά αλλάζοντας ROM κατευθείαν με το που το ανοίξετε από το κουτί! Αυτό είναι το λογισμικό του Mi box, το οποίο μπορείτε να εγκαταστήσετε κανονικά και είναι official! Επιτέλους η Cosmote, δεν το βλέπει rooted!
I bought it to watch Euroleague on TV.
First of all, the device is not compatible with the official Euroleague app, which is acceptable. But seriously, not being able to play videos on ANY browser? I find that unacceptable! I even tried Microsoft Edge, but nothing. The only thing that works is YouTube and Miracast. Καταρχήν η συσκευή δεν είναι συμβατή με την official app της euroleague,αυτό δεκτό.Αλλα ρε φίλε να μην μπορεί σε ΚΑΝΕΝΑΝ browser να παίξει βίντεο; το θεωρώ απαράδεκτο! δοκίμασα μέχρι και τον edge της microsoft αλλά τιποτα.Το μόνο που δουλεύει είναι το youtube και το miracast.Τζαμπα λεφτά έδωσα για αυτή τη συσκευή σας συμβουλεύω να μην την αγοράσετε και γενικά να αποφεύγετε tv box από OEM (δηλαδή κινέζικα no-name)
Huge issue with the HDD connection, even though it claims to support up to 3TB, I tried a smaller one and it freezes in every movie, even the box itself. The USB controller is to blame (I assume in my case), as when it opens or before it freezes, you can clearly hear the sound that the disk makes when the power supply is momentarily interrupted (characteristic "click"). What can I say, the first one I bought simply rebooted on its own, so unlucky that they sold it to me second, third, or tenth hand.
The second one, brand new and sealed - from somewhere else now - presented all the aforementioned issues! I am waiting for a technical evaluation or replacement and I will come back.
Τεράστιο θέμα με τη σύνδεση hdd, αν και λέει ότι υποστηρίζει μέχρι 3TB, δοκίμασα και μικρότερο και σε κάθε ταινία θα κολλήσει μέχρι κ το ίδιο το box..φταίει (υποθέτω στο δικό μου) το usb controller,καθώς όταν ανοίγει ή πριν κολλήσει ακούς καθαρά τον ήχο που κάνει ο δίσκος όταν διακόπτεται στιγμιαία η παροχή ρεύματος (χαρακτηριστικό "κλίνκ"). Τι να πω , το πρώτο που αγόρασα απλα έκανε μόνο του reboot οπότε πες άτυχος που μου το πούλησαν απο 2ο, 3ο ή 10ο χεράκι..
Το δεύτερο , κλειστο ολοκαίνουριο- από αλλού τώρα- παρουσίασε οσα προείπα! Αναμένω τεχνική αξιολόγηση ή αντικατάσταση κ θα επανέρθω..
Quite fast machine. Videos in 4k play without any problem. For IPTV, which I use it for, it is more than enough.
Αρκετα γρηγορο μηχάνημα. Βίντεο σε 4k παίζουν χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Για IPTV που το χρησιμοποιώ είναι υπεραρκετο.
I bought it two weeks ago and I wanted to have an experience before expressing my opinion and evaluating it.
For internet purposes, I recommend at least a 30 Mbps for it to work perfectly.
First of all, its speed is amazing, it doesn't lag anywhere.
I installed Stremio 4K, which requires a lot of network and power to play, and it worked perfectly without any issues.
However... ATTENTION!
This specific product does not have Chromecast.
In other words, you won't be able to cast from your mobile device. If you open YouTube, Netflix, or Facebook Watch and want to stream, there is no possibility to do it. Everything needs to be done manually, either with a mouse or with the remote control.
I give it a 4/5 rating. However, if it included Chromecast, it would be the best of all.

It is a value-for-money box for TV playback.

Το αγορασα πριν δυο βδομαδες και ηθελα μια εμπειρια πριν πω την αποψη μου και το αξιολογησω.
Για θεμα ιντερνετ προτεινω τουλαχιστον 30αρα για να δουλεψει αψογα τραβαει παρα πολυ.
Πρωτα απο ολα η ταχυτητα του ειναι θαυμασια δεν κολλαει πουθενα.
Εβαλα stremio 4K που τραβαει πολυ δικτυο και θελει δυναμη για να παιξει τα πηγε τελεια χωρις κανενα θεμα.
Ομως.. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ!
Το συγκεκριμενο δεν εχει CHROMECAST.
Με λιγα λογια δεν θα μπορεις να παραγεις εικονα απο το κινητο σου. Ανοιγεις το Youtube,Netflix η Facebook Watch και θες να κανεις stream δεν υπαρχει δυνατοτητα να το κανεις ολα πρεπει να γινουν χειροκινητα η με ποντικι η με το τηλεκοντρολ.
Το βαζω 4/5 αν ομως συμπεριλαμβανε το chromecast θα ηταν το καλυτερο απο ολα.

Well, regarding its price, it is very commendable. It runs very well for IPTV, Stremio, compared to others I have purchased. I haven't tried YouTube and Netflix, but I think they will work well! Personally, I find the remote control quite convenient.
Negatives: I give it 4 stars because Cosmote TV doesn't work and it doesn't have Chromecast. It has an application, but it is dysfunctional.
Λοιπόν σχετικά για τα χρήματα του είναι πολύ αξιόλογο,τρέχει πολύ καλά για iptv, stremio,σε σύγκριση με άλλα που έχω πάρει . YouTube και Netflix δεν έχω δοκιμάσει αλλά νομίζω ότι θα πηγαίνει καλά! Το τηλεκοντρόλ προσωπικά με βολεύει αρκετά.
Αρνητικα: βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί το cosmote tv δεν δουλεύει και δεν έχει chromecast,έχει μια εφαρμογή αλλά είναι δυσλειτουργική.
After 10 days of use on a FullHD TV, I have the following to say:
- Overall, it is a very good little box, fast and at a satisfactory price. I believe it is worth its money.
- I have a vdsl 50 internet connection. It catches a good wifi signal (although I was afraid because I am about 5 meters away from the router, with a wall in between and various other things). With the VPN activated, I get a clean 25 on the box. Also, so far there is a stable flow and I have not experienced any disconnections.
- The menu is not difficult at all for someone who has dealt with android devices in general (smartphones, tablets, etc). I consider it nothing special. Although it is my first box, I did not have any difficulties.
- The only downside is that the remote control is somewhat fake, but personally, I don't care. Even if it was good, I still wouldn't use it because I generally find it very annoying to use a remote control on a TV box. Fortunately, there are 2 USB ports (very important, necessary for me), so you must sacrifice one port, connect a mouse, and have the USB 3.0 available for anything else you want, and you're good to go.
Finally, for those who want it for Kodi, do not expect it to play everything straight away. You have to figure out how it works (addons, builds, etc). You need to uninstall the version that comes with it, install the latest version (Leia) from the box's play store, and "build" it according to your needs.
Μετά από 10 μέρες χρήση σε FullHD TV έχω να πω τα εξής:
- Γενικά είναι πάρα πολύ καλό boxάκι, γρήγορο και σε ικανοποιητική τιμή. Αξίζει τα χρήματά του πιστεύω.
- Έχω σύνδεση ίντερνετ vdsl 50. Πιάνει καλό σήμα wifi (αν και το φοβόμουν επειδή έχω περίπου 5 μέτρα απόσταση από τον router, με τοίχο ανάμεσα και διάφορα άλλα). Με ενεργοποιημένο vpn πιάνω 25 καθαρά στο boxάκι. Επίσης, μέχρι στιγμής υπάρχει σταθερή ροή και δεν έχω αποσυνδέσεις.
- Το μενού για κάποιον που έχει ασχοληθεί γενικά με android συσκευές (smartphones, tablets κλπ) δεν είναι καθόλου δύσκολο, τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο θεωρώ. Αν και είναι το πρώτο μου box, δεν δυσκολεύτηκα καθόλου.
- Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι το τηλεκοντρόλ είναι κάπως ψεύτικο, αλλά προσωπικά μου είναι αδιάφορο. Και καλό να ήταν πάλι δε θα το χρησιμοποιούσα, επειδή γενικά θεωρώ πολύ εκνευριστικό να χρησιμοποιείς τηλεκοντρολ σε tv box. Ευτυχώς υπάρχουν 2 θύρες usb (πολύ σημαντικό, απαραίτητο για μένα), οπότε είναι must να θυσιάσεις τη μια θύρα, βάζεις ένα ποντίκι, έχεις διαθέσιμη τη usb 3.0 για ότι άλλο θέλεις και είσαι κομπλέ.
Τέλος, για όσους το θέλουν για kodi, μην περιμένετε να παίξει τα πάντα κατευθείαν. Πρέπει να ψαχτείτε για το πως δουλεύει (addons, builds κλπ). Πρέπει να απεγκαταστήσετε την έκδοση που έχει μέσα, να περάσετε την τελευταία έκδοση (Leia) από το play store του box και να το "χτίσετε" σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες σας.
I regret not getting the X96 Air for its rich features, which only cost 5€ more (in the end, I didn't regret it), but that's my own fault for not doing proper research. In our case, I have been the owner of the classic X96 for 3 years, and it was perfect for Cosmote TV GO, Netflix, downloading movies, but lately, due to its age, it started freezing. Today, I received the X96 Max+, the menu is a bit difficult, but you get used to it, and it has more capabilities. It comes with Root like almost all the others, but this specific one can be easily unrooted for TV GO. However, let's not forget that they are called TV boxes and not "subscription boxes" in general. It's a good device for those who want to take a step further in TV boxes. I also received the upgraded version, which has a USB 0.3 port, and of course, it's great value for money! Just if you know how to unroot and you are a fan of the X96 series, get it with your eyes closed!

In Kodi, it has some issues with heavy builds. But overall, it's a very good box. I ordered 2 more for the corners of my room and for myself, and we canceled our subscription TV!

Out of the 3 that I have, when one of them was unrooted, it frequently experienced heavy lag and I had to unplug it. This was fixed when we canceled the subscription and I did a hard reset, meaning factory reset. However, in my own box, which I never tampered with, one day it had a terrible lag, everything froze, and it was stuck on the boot screen for about a quarter of an hour, I don't know why? Maybe it's because it's Chinese... Now, it really doesn't play anything from the browser, as others have mentioned, but it's not a problem considering what it offers because you don't need anything else since Kodi solves everything for you! (I'm speaking personally, it may be different for others who have issues with Kodi) However, I can easily watch Web TV channels and live streams through the browser, and as time goes by, I mentioned earlier that it had issues with heavy Kodi builds, but that changed and now it runs everything smoothly!! I'm very satisfied!
What I don't know is whether it's a safe purchase for those who want it for the GO applications that require a subscription TV, I believe they might have an issue with the new applications regarding the root of the box, as well as the fact that the new services are well locked and resistant to unrooting, they don't unlock easily, you have to be skilled in these matters... It's better to look for other boxes. It's also much more classy than the X96 Air, as it has shown many problems, from plastic construction to sound quality! (The Air) However, we are very satisfied with this one!
Μετάνιωσα που δεν πήρα το X96 Air για τις πλούσιες δυνατότητες που προσφέρει με διαφορά μόνο 5€ (τελικά δεν μετάνιωσα) αλλά αυτό φταίει από δική μου κακή έρευνα. Στα δικά μας. Κάτοχος του κλασικού X96 εδώ και 3 χρονάκια και για Cosmote TV GO και netflix ή κατέβασμα ταινιών ήταν άψογο αλλά πλέον λόγω χρόνων άρχισαν τα κολλήματα. Σήμερα παρέλαβα το X96 Max+ λίγο δύσκολο Menu αλλά συνηθίζεται έχει πιο πολλές δυνατότητες. Έρχεται με Root όπως όλα σχεδόν αλλά ξε-rootάρει εύκολα το συγκεκριμένο για tv go αλλά μην ξεχνάμε πως λέγονται και Tv box και όχι "συνδρομητικά box" γενικά μια καλή συσκευή σε όσους θέλουν να προχωρήσουν ένα βήμα παραπέρα στα tv boxes επίσης πήρα παρέλαβα το αναβαθμισμένο το οποίο έχει θύρα usb 0.3 και φυσικά value for money!! Απλά αν ξέρετε από unroot και είστε λάτρεις των X96 σειρών πάρτε το με κλειστά τα μάτια!!!

Σε Kodi έχει μερικά θεματάκια με τα πολύ βαριά builds. Αλλα γενικά είναι ένα πολύ καλό box.. Παράγγειλα αλλά 2 για το δωμάτιο των γωνιών μου και για τι δικό μου, και τουτέστιν κόψαμε την συνδρομητική τηλεόραση!!!

Από τα 3 που έχω όταν είχα ξε-rootαρισμένο το ένα έτρωγε βαρύ lag συχνά και έπρεπε να το βγάλω από την μπρίζα. Αυτό διορθώθηκε όταν κόψαμε την συνδρομητική και του έκανα Hard reset δηλαδή επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων. Στο δικό μου όμως μέσα στο δωμάτιο, όπου δεν το είχα πειράξει ποτέ, έφαγε μια μέρα ένα τρομερό lag πάγωσαν τα πάντα και είχε κολλήσει στο boot για κάνα τέταρτο, δεν ξέρω γιατί? Ίσως φτάει η κινεζιά που είναι...
Τώρα όντως δεν παίζει τίποτα από browser όπως έχουν αναφέρει και άλλοι ιδιοκτήτες του box όμως είναι μηδαμινό πρόβλημα σε αυτά που προσφέρει γιατί δεν χρειάζεσαι τίποτα αφού σου λύνει τα πάντα το Kodi! (προσωπικά μιλώ μπορεί αλλά άτομα να έχουν έχθρα με το Kodi) πάντως μπορώ άνετα και βλέπω Web Tv καναλιών καθώς και Live μέσα από browser και όσο περνάει ο καιρός είχα αναφέρει πιο πάνω ότι έχει θεματάκι με βαριά builds του Kodi, άλλα τελικά αυτό άλλαξε και τα τρέχει όλα σφαίρα!!!!!! Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος!
Αυτό που δεν ξέρω είναι κατά πόσο είναι μια ασφαλή αγορά για αυτούς που το θέλουν για τις εφαρμογές GO που πληρώνουν συνδρομητική τηλεόραση, θα έχουν ένα θεματάκι πιστεύω με τις νέες εφαρμογές όσο αφορά το root του box καθώς και το ότι οι καινούριες υπηρεσίες είναι καλά κλειδωμένες και εναντιώνονται καλά στο ξε-rootάρισμα δεν ξεκλειδώνουν εύκολα πρέπει να είσαι κάνουλα σε αυτά.... Καλύτερα να κοιτάξουν αλλά box....! Είναι και πολύ κλάσης σε επίπεδα ανώτερο από το X96 Air αφού έχει επιδείξει πολλά προβλήματα, από πλαστικού κατασκευής, έως σε ήχο!!! (Το Air) Είμαστε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι πάντως με το συγκεκριμένο!!!!!!!!!!

Το βαζω 4/5 αν ομως συμπεριλαμβανε το chromecast θα ηταν το καλυτερο απο ολα.

After 10 days of use on a FullHD TV, I have the following to say:
- Overall, it is a very good little box, fast and at a satisfactory price. I believe it is worth its money.
- I have a vdsl 50 internet connection. It catches a good wifi signal (although I was afraid because I am about 5 meters away from the router, with a wall in between and various other things). With the VPN activated, I get a clean 25 on the box. Also, so far there is a stable flow and I have not experienced any disconnections.
- The menu is not difficult at all for someone who has dealt with android devices in general (smartphones, tablets, etc). I consider it nothing special. Although it is my first box, I did not have any difficulties.
- The only downside is that the remote control is somewhat fake, but personally, I don't care. Even if it was good, I still wouldn't use it because I generally find it very annoying to use a remote control on a TV box. Fortunately, there are 2 USB ports (very important, necessary for me), so you must sacrifice one port, connect a mouse, and have the USB 3.0 available for anything else you want, and you're good to go.
Finally, for those who want it for Kodi, do not expect it to play everything straight away. You have to figure out how it works (addons, builds, etc). You need to uninstall the version that comes with it, install the latest version (Leia) from the box's play store, and "build" it according to your needs.
Μετά από 10 μέρες χρήση σε FullHD TV έχω να πω τα εξής:
- Γενικά είναι πάρα πολύ καλό boxάκι, γρήγορο και σε ικανοποιητική τιμή. Αξίζει τα χρήματά του πιστεύω.
- Έχω σύνδεση ίντερνετ vdsl 50. Πιάνει καλό σήμα wifi (αν και το φοβόμουν επειδή έχω περίπου 5 μέτρα απόσταση από τον router, με τοίχο ανάμεσα και διάφορα άλλα). Με ενεργοποιημένο vpn πιάνω 25 καθαρά στο boxάκι. Επίσης, μέχρι στιγμής υπάρχει σταθερή ροή και δεν έχω αποσυνδέσεις.
- Το μενού για κάποιον που έχει ασχοληθεί γενικά με android συσκευές (smartphones, tablets κλπ) δεν είναι καθόλου δύσκολο, τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο θεωρώ. Αν και είναι το πρώτο μου box, δεν δυσκολεύτηκα καθόλου.
- Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι το τηλεκοντρόλ είναι κάπως ψεύτικο, αλλά προσωπικά μου είναι αδιάφορο. Και καλό να ήταν πάλι δε θα το χρησιμοποιούσα, επειδή γενικά θεωρώ πολύ εκνευριστικό να χρησιμοποιείς τηλεκοντρολ σε tv box. Ευτυχώς υπάρχουν 2 θύρες usb (πολύ σημαντικό, απαραίτητο για μένα), οπότε είναι must να θυσιάσεις τη μια θύρα, βάζεις ένα ποντίκι, έχεις διαθέσιμη τη usb 3.0 για ότι άλλο θέλεις και είσαι κομπλέ.
Τέλος, για όσους το θέλουν για kodi, μην περιμένετε να παίξει τα πάντα κατευθείαν. Πρέπει να ψαχτείτε για το πως δουλεύει (addons, builds κλπ). Πρέπει να απεγκαταστήσετε την έκδοση που έχει μέσα, να περάσετε την τελευταία έκδοση (Leia) από το play store του box και να το "χτίσετε" σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες σας.

The box as a device may be good, I don't know! I chose it based on its RAM to run the software smoothly and it does that without any problem! The purpose for which I bought it was to install the new Cosmote TV application to watch! But, I didn't know that it doesn't work on rooted devices! I thought I would search the internet to unroot it! And I tried everything! Magisk Manager, Super SU, simply unroot, it tells me I don't have root, but it finds the installed BusyBox, which I read somewhere is the reason why Cosmote doesn't work! The firmware in general is a mess! I tried flashing from scratch, updating, nothing! Cosmote detects root! I'm frustrated! If anyone has a solution, please share it! I know this is not a product review, it's more of a question, so please show some understanding!

The Cosmote TV app doesn't want to cooperate with the box! I opened the box, after bricking the device by installing an unsupported ROM! I short-circuited the NAND chip, installed a custom Android TV ROM, it still detects it as rooted! Is there anyone who has the box and has made Cosmote TV work? Money wasted! I'm fed up!

After 2 months of dealing with the box, ROM changes, and experiments to make Cosmote work, I realized that nothing is needed and the solution is very simple! If you have downloaded the Cosmote TV application on the box, big mistake! Delete it immediately! Reflash any ROM you want! I am now using the original (useless, of course, that's another issue) ROM and the update 20200901! Remove the box from the Cosmote TV devices! Perform a factory reset on the box but do not download the application from the Play Store! Go directly to the page on Chrome, log in with your credentials, and Cosmote TV will work normally!
I'm coming back after a long time to tell you that anyone who wants to buy it to watch Cosmote TV can do so without second thoughts because the problem has been solved simply by changing the ROM as soon as you open it from the box! This is the Mi box software, which you can install normally and it is official! Finally, Cosmote doesn't detect it as rooted!

Ο σκοπός για τον οποίο το αγόρασα ήταν για να εγκαταστήσω τη νέα εφαρμογή της Cosmote TV, για να βλέπω! Έλα όμως, που δεν ήξερα ότι δεν παίζει σε rooted συσκευές! Είπα θα ψάξω στο internet να κάνω unroot! Και τι δε δοκίμασα! Magisk Manager, Super SU, το simply unroot, μου λέει, δεν έχω root, όμως βρίσκει το BusyBox εγκατεστημένο, που κάπου διάβασα ότι είναι λόγος για να μην παίζει το Cosmote! Το Cosmote TV app, δε θέλει να συνεργαστεί με το box! Άνοιξα το κουτί, αφού είχα κάνει brick τη συσκευή έχοντας βάλει ROM που δεν υποστηριζόταν! Βραχυκύκλωσα το NAND chip, πέρασα custom Android TV ROM, πάλι το βλέπει Rooted! Υπάρχει κανένας που να έχει το box και να έχει κάνει το Cosmote TV, να δουλέψει; Πεταμένα λεφτά! Έχω σκάσει!

Παιδιά μετά από 2 μήνες ενασχόλησης με το box, αλλαγές στις ROM και πειραματισμούς για να παίξει η Cosmote, διαπίστωσα ότι τελικά δε χρειάζεται τίποτα και η λύση είναι απλούστατη! Αν έχετε κατεβάσει την εφαρμογή της Cosmote TV στο box, μέγα λάθος! Διαγράψτε τη αμέσως! Κάντε reflash οποία Ρομ θέλετε! Εγώ τώρα χρησιμοποιώ την αρχική, (για πέταμα βέβαια, άλλο θέμα αυτό) rom και το update 20200901! Αφαιρέστε το box από τις συσκευές της Cosmote TV! Κάντε αρχική ρύθμιση του box αλλά μην κατεβάσετε την εφαρμογή από το Play Store! Μπείτε κατευθείαν από τη σελίδα στον Chrome, συνδεθείτε με τα στοιχεία και η Cosmote TV, θα παίξει κανονικά!
Επιστρέφω μετά από πολύ καιρό στο box για να σάς πω, ότι όποιος θέλει να το αγοράσει για να βλέπει Cosmote TV, μπορεί να το κάνει χωρίς δεύτερες σκέψεις, γιατί το πρόβλημα λύθηκε απλά αλλάζοντας ROM κατευθείαν με το που το ανοίξετε από το κουτί! Αυτό είναι το λογισμικό του Mi box, το οποίο μπορείτε να εγκαταστήσετε κανονικά και είναι official! Επιτέλους η Cosmote, δεν το βλέπει rooted!
I bought it to watch Euroleague on TV.

Καταρχήν η συσκευή δεν είναι συμβατή με την official app της euroleague,αυτό δεκτό.Αλλα ρε φίλε να μην μπορεί σε ΚΑΝΕΝΑΝ browser να παίξει βίντεο; το θεωρώ απαράδεκτο! δοκίμασα μέχρι και τον edge της microsoft αλλά τιποτα.Το μόνο που δουλεύει είναι το youtube και το miracast.Τζαμπα λεφτά έδωσα για αυτή τη συσκευή σας συμβουλεύω να μην την αγοράσετε και γενικά να αποφεύγετε tv box από OEM (δηλαδή κινέζικα no-name)
Huge issue with the HDD connection, even though it claims to support up to 3TB, I tried a smaller one and it freezes in every movie, even the box itself. The USB controller is to blame (I assume in my case), as when it opens or before it freezes, you can clearly hear the sound that the disk makes when the power supply is momentarily interrupted (characteristic "click"). What can I say, the first one I bought simply rebooted on its own, so unlucky that they sold it to me second, third, or tenth hand.
The second one, brand new and sealed - from somewhere else now - presented all the aforementioned issues! I am waiting for a technical evaluation or replacement and I will come back.
Τεράστιο θέμα με τη σύνδεση hdd, αν και λέει ότι υποστηρίζει μέχρι 3TB, δοκίμασα και μικρότερο και σε κάθε ταινία θα κολλήσει μέχρι κ το ίδιο το box..φταίει (υποθέτω στο δικό μου) το usb controller,καθώς όταν ανοίγει ή πριν κολλήσει ακούς καθαρά τον ήχο που κάνει ο δίσκος όταν διακόπτεται στιγμιαία η παροχή ρεύματος (χαρακτηριστικό "κλίνκ"). Τι να πω , το πρώτο που αγόρασα απλα έκανε μόνο του reboot οπότε πες άτυχος που μου το πούλησαν απο 2ο, 3ο ή 10ο χεράκι..
Το δεύτερο , κλειστο ολοκαίνουριο- από αλλού τώρα- παρουσίασε οσα προείπα! Αναμένω τεχνική αξιολόγηση ή αντικατάσταση κ θα επανέρθω..
Quite fast machine. Videos in 4k play without any problem. For IPTV, which I use it for, it is more than enough.
Αρκετα γρηγορο μηχάνημα. Βίντεο σε 4k παίζουν χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Για IPTV που το χρησιμοποιώ είναι υπεραρκετο.
I bought it two weeks ago and I wanted to have an experience before expressing my opinion and evaluating it.
For internet purposes, I recommend at least a 30 Mbps for it to work perfectly.
First of all, its speed is amazing, it doesn't lag anywhere.
I installed Stremio 4K, which requires a lot of network and power to play, and it worked perfectly without any issues.
However... ATTENTION!
This specific product does not have Chromecast.
In other words, you won't be able to cast from your mobile device. If you open YouTube, Netflix, or Facebook Watch and want to stream, there is no possibility to do it. Everything needs to be done manually, either with a mouse or with the remote control.
I give it a 4/5 rating. However, if it included Chromecast, it would be the best of all.

It is a value-for-money box for TV playback.

Το αγορασα πριν δυο βδομαδες και ηθελα μια εμπειρια πριν πω την αποψη μου και το αξιολογησω.
Για θεμα ιντερνετ προτεινω τουλαχιστον 30αρα για να δουλεψει αψογα τραβαει παρα πολυ.
Πρωτα απο ολα η ταχυτητα του ειναι θαυμασια δεν κολλαει πουθενα.
Εβαλα stremio 4K που τραβαει πολυ δικτυο και θελει δυναμη για να παιξει τα πηγε τελεια χωρις κανενα θεμα.
Ομως.. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ!
Το συγκεκριμενο δεν εχει CHROMECAST.

I regret not getting the X96 Air for its rich features, which only cost 5€ more (in the end, I didn't regret it), but that's my own fault for not doing proper research. In our case, I have been the owner of the classic X96 for 3 years, and it was perfect for Cosmote TV GO, Netflix, downloading movies, but lately, due to its age, it started freezing. Today, I received the X96 Max+, the menu is a bit difficult, but you get used to it, and it has more capabilities. It comes with Root like almost all the others, but this specific one can be easily unrooted for TV GO. However, let's not forget that they are called TV boxes and not "subscription boxes" in general. It's a good device for those who want to take a step further in TV boxes. I also received the upgraded version, which has a USB 0.3 port, and of course, it's great value for money! Just if you know how to unroot and you are a fan of the X96 series, get it with your eyes closed!

In Kodi, it has some issues with heavy builds. But overall, it's a very good box. I ordered 2 more for the corners of my room and for myself, and we canceled our subscription TV!

Out of the 3 that I have, when one of them was unrooted, it frequently experienced heavy lag and I had to unplug it. This was fixed when we canceled the subscription and I did a hard reset, meaning factory reset. However, in my own box, which I never tampered with, one day it had a terrible lag, everything froze, and it was stuck on the boot screen for about a quarter of an hour, I don't know why? Maybe it's because it's Chinese... Now, it really doesn't play anything from the browser, as others have mentioned, but it's not a problem considering what it offers because you don't need anything else since Kodi solves everything for you! (I'm speaking personally, it may be different for others who have issues with Kodi) However, I can easily watch Web TV channels and live streams through the browser, and as time goes by, I mentioned earlier that it had issues with heavy Kodi builds, but that changed and now it runs everything smoothly!! I'm very satisfied!
What I don't know is whether it's a safe purchase for those who want it for the GO applications that require a subscription TV, I believe they might have an issue with the new applications regarding the root of the box, as well as the fact that the new services are well locked and resistant to unrooting, they don't unlock easily, you have to be skilled in these matters... It's better to look for other boxes. It's also much more classy than the X96 Air, as it has shown many problems, from plastic construction to sound quality! (The Air) However, we are very satisfied with this one!
Μετάνιωσα που δεν πήρα το X96 Air για τις πλούσιες δυνατότητες που προσφέρει με διαφορά μόνο 5€ (τελικά δεν μετάνιωσα) αλλά αυτό φταίει από δική μου κακή έρευνα. Στα δικά μας. Κάτοχος του κλασικού X96 εδώ και 3 χρονάκια και για Cosmote TV GO και netflix ή κατέβασμα ταινιών ήταν άψογο αλλά πλέον λόγω χρόνων άρχισαν τα κολλήματα. Σήμερα παρέλαβα το X96 Max+ λίγο δύσκολο Menu αλλά συνηθίζεται έχει πιο πολλές δυνατότητες. Έρχεται με Root όπως όλα σχεδόν αλλά ξε-rootάρει εύκολα το συγκεκριμένο για tv go αλλά μην ξεχνάμε πως λέγονται και Tv box και όχι "συνδρομητικά box" γενικά μια καλή συσκευή σε όσους θέλουν να προχωρήσουν ένα βήμα παραπέρα στα tv boxes επίσης πήρα παρέλαβα το αναβαθμισμένο το οποίο έχει θύρα usb 0.3 και φυσικά value for money!! Απλά αν ξέρετε από unroot και είστε λάτρεις των X96 σειρών πάρτε το με κλειστά τα μάτια!!!

Σε Kodi έχει μερικά θεματάκια με τα πολύ βαριά builds. Αλλα γενικά είναι ένα πολύ καλό box.. Παράγγειλα αλλά 2 για το δωμάτιο των γωνιών μου και για τι δικό μου, και τουτέστιν κόψαμε την συνδρομητική τηλεόραση!!!

Από τα 3 που έχω όταν είχα ξε-rootαρισμένο το ένα έτρωγε βαρύ lag συχνά και έπρεπε να το βγάλω από την μπρίζα. Αυτό διορθώθηκε όταν κόψαμε την συνδρομητική και του έκανα Hard reset δηλαδή επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων. Στο δικό μου όμως μέσα στο δωμάτιο, όπου δεν το είχα πειράξει ποτέ, έφαγε μια μέρα ένα τρομερό lag πάγωσαν τα πάντα και είχε κολλήσει στο boot για κάνα τέταρτο, δεν ξέρω γιατί? Ίσως φτάει η κινεζιά που είναι...
Τώρα όντως δεν παίζει τίποτα από browser όπως έχουν αναφέρει και άλλοι ιδιοκτήτες του box όμως είναι μηδαμινό πρόβλημα σε αυτά που προσφέρει γιατί δεν χρειάζεσαι τίποτα αφού σου λύνει τα πάντα το Kodi! (προσωπικά μιλώ μπορεί αλλά άτομα να έχουν έχθρα με το Kodi) πάντως μπορώ άνετα και βλέπω Web Tv καναλιών καθώς και Live μέσα από browser και όσο περνάει ο καιρός είχα αναφέρει πιο πάνω ότι έχει θεματάκι με βαριά builds του Kodi, άλλα τελικά αυτό άλλαξε και τα τρέχει όλα σφαίρα!!!!!! Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος!
Αυτό που δεν ξέρω είναι κατά πόσο είναι μια ασφαλή αγορά για αυτούς που το θέλουν για τις εφαρμογές GO που πληρώνουν συνδρομητική τηλεόραση, θα έχουν ένα θεματάκι πιστεύω με τις νέες εφαρμογές όσο αφορά το root του box καθώς και το ότι οι καινούριες υπηρεσίες είναι καλά κλειδωμένες και εναντιώνονται καλά στο ξε-rootάρισμα δεν ξεκλειδώνουν εύκολα πρέπει να είσαι κάνουλα σε αυτά.... Καλύτερα να κοιτάξουν αλλά box....! Είναι και πολύ κλάσης σε επίπεδα ανώτερο από το X96 Air αφού έχει επιδείξει πολλά προβλήματα, από πλαστικού κατασκευής, έως σε ήχο!!! (Το Air) Είμαστε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι πάντως με το συγκεκριμένο!!!!!!!!!!

Huge issue with the HDD connection, even though it claims to support up to 3TB, I tried a smaller one and it freezes in every movie, even the box itself. The USB controller is to blame (I assume in my case), as when it opens or before it freezes, you can clearly hear the sound that the disk makes when the power supply is momentarily interrupted (characteristic "click"). What can I say, the first one I bought simply rebooted on its own, so unlucky that they sold it to me second, third, or tenth hand.
The second one, brand new and sealed - from somewhere else now - presented all the aforementioned issues! I am waiting for a technical evaluation or replacement and I will come back.
Τεράστιο θέμα με τη σύνδεση hdd, αν και λέει ότι υποστηρίζει μέχρι 3TB, δοκίμασα και μικρότερο και σε κάθε ταινία θα κολλήσει μέχρι κ το ίδιο το box..φταίει (υποθέτω στο δικό μου) το usb controller,καθώς όταν ανοίγει ή πριν κολλήσει ακούς καθαρά τον ήχο που κάνει ο δίσκος όταν διακόπτεται στιγμιαία η παροχή ρεύματος (χαρακτηριστικό "κλίνκ"). Τι να πω , το πρώτο που αγόρασα απλα έκανε μόνο του reboot οπότε πες άτυχος που μου το πούλησαν απο 2ο, 3ο ή 10ο χεράκι..
Το δεύτερο , κλειστο ολοκαίνουριο- από αλλού τώρα- παρουσίασε οσα προείπα! Αναμένω τεχνική αξιολόγηση ή αντικατάσταση κ θα επανέρθω..
Quite fast machine. Videos in 4k play without any problem. For IPTV, which I use it for, it is more than enough.
Αρκετα γρηγορο μηχάνημα. Βίντεο σε 4k παίζουν χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Για IPTV που το χρησιμοποιώ είναι υπεραρκετο.
I bought it two weeks ago and I wanted to have an experience before expressing my opinion and evaluating it.
For internet purposes, I recommend at least a 30 Mbps for it to work perfectly.
First of all, its speed is amazing, it doesn't lag anywhere.
I installed Stremio 4K, which requires a lot of network and power to play, and it worked perfectly without any issues.
However... ATTENTION!
This specific product does not have Chromecast.
In other words, you won't be able to cast from your mobile device. If you open YouTube, Netflix, or Facebook Watch and want to stream, there is no possibility to do it. Everything needs to be done manually, either with a mouse or with the remote control.
I give it a 4/5 rating. However, if it included Chromecast, it would be the best of all.

Το αγορασα πριν δυο βδομαδες και ηθελα μια εμπειρια πριν πω την αποψη μου και το αξιολογησω.
Για θεμα ιντερνετ προτεινω τουλαχιστον 30αρα για να δουλεψει αψογα τραβαει παρα πολυ.
Πρωτα απο ολα η ταχυτητα του ειναι θαυμασια δεν κολλαει πουθενα.
Εβαλα stremio 4K που τραβαει πολυ δικτυο και θελει δυναμη για να παιξει τα πηγε τελεια χωρις κανενα θεμα.
Ομως.. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ!
Το συγκεκριμενο δεν εχει CHROMECAST.
Με λιγα λογια δεν θα μπορεις να παραγεις εικονα απο το κινητο σου. Ανοιγεις το Youtube,Netflix η Facebook Watch και θες να κανεις stream δεν υπαρχει δυνατοτητα να το κανεις ολα πρεπει να γινουν χειροκινητα η με ποντικι η με το τηλεκοντρολ.
Το βαζω 4/5 αν ομως συμπεριλαμβανε το chromecast θα ηταν το καλυτερο απο ολα.

Well, regarding its price, it is very commendable. It runs very well for IPTV, Stremio, compared to others I have purchased. I haven't tried YouTube and Netflix, but I think they will work well! Personally, I find the remote control quite convenient.
Negatives: I give it 4 stars because Cosmote TV doesn't work and it doesn't have Chromecast. It has an application, but it is dysfunctional.
Λοιπόν σχετικά για τα χρήματα του είναι πολύ αξιόλογο,τρέχει πολύ καλά για iptv, stremio,σε σύγκριση με άλλα που έχω πάρει . YouTube και Netflix δεν έχω δοκιμάσει αλλά νομίζω ότι θα πηγαίνει καλά! Το τηλεκοντρόλ προσωπικά με βολεύει αρκετά.
Αρνητικα: βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί το cosmote tv δεν δουλεύει και δεν έχει chromecast,έχει μια εφαρμογή αλλά είναι δυσλειτουργική.
After 10 days of use on a FullHD TV, I have the following to say:
- Overall, it is a very good little box, fast and at a satisfactory price. I believe it is worth its money.
- I have a vdsl 50 internet connection. It catches a good wifi signal (although I was afraid because I am about 5 meters away from the router, with a wall in between and various other things). With the VPN activated, I get a clean 25 on the box. Also, so far there is a stable flow and I have not experienced any disconnections.
- The menu is not difficult at all for someone who has dealt with android devices in general (smartphones, tablets, etc). I consider it nothing special. Although it is my first box, I did not have any difficulties.
- The only downside is that the remote control is somewhat fake, but personally, I don't care. Even if it was good, I still wouldn't use it because I generally find it very annoying to use a remote control on a TV box. Fortunately, there are 2 USB ports (very important, necessary for me), so you must sacrifice one port, connect a mouse, and have the USB 3.0 available for anything else you want, and you're good to go.
Finally, for those who want it for Kodi, do not expect it to play everything straight away. You have to figure out how it works (addons, builds, etc). You need to uninstall the version that comes with it, install the latest version (Leia) from the box's play store, and "build" it according to your needs.
Μετά από 10 μέρες χρήση σε FullHD TV έχω να πω τα εξής:
- Γενικά είναι πάρα πολύ καλό boxάκι, γρήγορο και σε ικανοποιητική τιμή. Αξίζει τα χρήματά του πιστεύω.
- Έχω σύνδεση ίντερνετ vdsl 50. Πιάνει καλό σήμα wifi (αν και το φοβόμουν επειδή έχω περίπου 5 μέτρα απόσταση από τον router, με τοίχο ανάμεσα και διάφορα άλλα). Με ενεργοποιημένο vpn πιάνω 25 καθαρά στο boxάκι. Επίσης, μέχρι στιγμής υπάρχει σταθερή ροή και δεν έχω αποσυνδέσεις.
- Το μενού για κάποιον που έχει ασχοληθεί γενικά με android συσκευές (smartphones, tablets κλπ) δεν είναι καθόλου δύσκολο, τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο θεωρώ. Αν και είναι το πρώτο μου box, δεν δυσκολεύτηκα καθόλου.
- Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι το τηλεκοντρόλ είναι κάπως ψεύτικο, αλλά προσωπικά μου είναι αδιάφορο. Και καλό να ήταν πάλι δε θα το χρησιμοποιούσα, επειδή γενικά θεωρώ πολύ εκνευριστικό να χρησιμοποιείς τηλεκοντρολ σε tv box. Ευτυχώς υπάρχουν 2 θύρες usb (πολύ σημαντικό, απαραίτητο για μένα), οπότε είναι must να θυσιάσεις τη μια θύρα, βάζεις ένα ποντίκι, έχεις διαθέσιμη τη usb 3.0 για ότι άλλο θέλεις και είσαι κομπλέ.
Τέλος, για όσους το θέλουν για kodi, μην περιμένετε να παίξει τα πάντα κατευθείαν. Πρέπει να ψαχτείτε για το πως δουλεύει (addons, builds κλπ). Πρέπει να απεγκαταστήσετε την έκδοση που έχει μέσα, να περάσετε την τελευταία έκδοση (Leia) από το play store του box και να το "χτίσετε" σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες σας.
