I bought it to play games that run on the Switch emulators (SNES, GBA, etc.). Its build quality is good. The D-pad is similar to the GBA's and is a bit larger. The battery lasts a very long time. It is very small, which makes it easy to carry, but on the other hand, it might not be comfortable to hold (I have very large hands and ended up changing my grip). Overall, a good choice for anyone who wants to play retro games

The reason it was purchased was for Nintendo DS emulation needs. After much searching for something portable that exactly matches the layout of the Nintendo DS, I found this amazing little console. Beyond how faithful it feels for the purpose I got it for (the feel of the buttons is similar to the DS I had as a kid), it can cover a wide range of games, confidently all 2D, but also some relaxed-paced 3D games like 3D Pokémon. The build quality is very good, as with all the company's products, the buttons make a hard click unlike most 8BitDo and even the other two versions of the upcoming ones (Lite 2, Lite SE). Generally, I will use it for other games as well because it is incredibly portable without exposing joysticks at risk, depending on whether I feel comfortable with the D-Pad. A subjective issue here, but I am sure it will work well for quite a few Nintendo games at least.
Aside from the Joycons, it is the only quality option with a hard click on the buttons and the scale of a portable Nintendo console. It is definitely a product for specific situations like mine, but especially for such a purpose, it is worth an additional €10. If you know you like 2D and generally games before a Joystick becomes necessary, buy it without hesitation.

With the Lite series, I think 8bitdo has found the perfect balance between portability and functionality. The Zero, for example, which I also have, is ridiculously small, which makes it almost useless. The Lite pleasantly surprised me with how convenient it is despite its small size. It fits perfectly in my hand, at least, and you can play demanding games with it. The build quality is also very good, with excellent matte plastic. It connects instantly via Bluetooth to anything, from Android to PC. It fits in any pocket and is lightweight, while its battery lasts 15-18 hours, which is exceptional for its size. I only give it 3 stars for the one thing I never expected 8bitdo to disappoint me on, the buttons. The only good thing about them is that they are quiet. Otherwise, they are all very shallow and don't provide good feedback, the same goes for the D-pad. The buttons on the back are even worse, with a poor feel and a slightly awkward design. You might say, did you expect more travel on the buttons for this size? I would say it's okay if I didn't also have the Lite 2. Everything is greatly improved there, and the buttons are excellent with much greater depth. So if you're going to spend the 25-30 euros they ask for, which already seem like a steep price to me, it's better to spend them on the Lite 2.
Με τη σειρά Lite νομίζω ότι η 8bitdo έχει βρει τη χρυσή τομή ανάμεσα σε φορητότητα και χρηστικότητα. Το Zero π.χ. που επίσης έχω είναι τραγικά μικρό, γεγονός που το καθιστά σχεδόν άχρηστο. To Lite με εξέπληξε θετικά στο πόσο βολικό είναι παρά το μικρό του μέγεθος. Κουμπώνει τέλεια στο (δικό μου τουλάχιστον) χέρι, μπορείς να παίξεις αρκετά απαιτητικά παιχνίδια και η κατασκευή του μοιάζει πολύ ποιοτική με εξαιρετικό ματ πλαστικό. Συνδέεται άμεσα μέσω bluetooth με ότι θες, από android μέχρι PC. Χωράει σε οποιαδήποτε τσέπη και είναι πανάλαφρο, ενώ η μπαταρία του κρατάει 15-18 ώρες, εξαιρετική για αυτό το μέγεθος. Του βάζω 3 μόνο αστεράκια για το μόνο πράγμα που δεν περίμενα ποτέ η 8bitdo να με απογοητεύσει, τα κουμπιά του. Το μόνο καλό τους είναι ότι είναι αθόρυβα. Κατά τ' άλλα είναι όλα τρομερά “ρηχά” στο πάτημα και δεν δίνουν καθόλου καλό feedback, το ίδιο και οι σταυροί. Τα πλήκτρα στη πλάτη μοιάζουν ακόμα χειρότερα με κακή αίσθηση και λίγο άβολο σχεδιασμό. Θα μου πείτε περίμενες μεγαλύτερο travel στα κουμπιά σε αυτό το μέγεθος? Θα έλεγα ότι είναι εντάξει αν δεν είχα στην κατοχή μου και το Lite 2. Εκεί όλα είναι τρομερά βελτιωμένα και τα κουμπιά είναι εξαιρετικά με πολύ μεγαλύτερο "βάθος". Οπότε αν είναι να δώσετε τα 25-30 ευρώ που ζητάνε και μου φαίνονται ήδη τσιμπημένη τιμή καλύτερα δώστε τα για το Lite 2.

I tried playing Asphalt 9: Legends with it and it worked great. This means it will easily handle many racing games. It is suitable for the Nintendo Switch Lite (like the one I have) and I believe it was made for this. It fits comfortably in a case for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, as long as it is slightly larger and not one of those slim ones.

Wonderful product from 8BitDo. Extremely lightweight and high quality. On their website and in the manual, they only mention compatibility with Switch and PC. Personally, I tried it in s (I don't want to say switch) mode and it worked great on Android with Super Tux Kart. I even tried it on a computer with a Linux operating system and, to my surprise, it worked perfectly in x mode (both wired and wireless). I love its design and highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't want joysticks, at a price of 20-25€. One advantage of not having them is the durability, as - empirically - I find it to be the most susceptible to damage point of a controller.
Υπέροχο προϊόν από την 8BitDo. Εξαιρετικά ελαφρύ και ποιοτικό. Στο site τους και στο manual μιλάνε για compatibility μόνο με Switch και PC. Προσωπικά το δοκίμασα στο s (δε θέλω να το πω switch) mode και δούλεψε μια χαρά στο android με super tux kart. Το δοκίμασα ακόμα και σε υπολογιστή με linux λειτουργικό και προς μεγάλη μου έκπληξη στο x mode λειτούργησε άψογα (και ενσύρματα και ασύρματα). Λατρεύω το σχεδιασμό του, και το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα στα 20-25€ για όποιον δε θέλει τα joysticks. Ένα plus της έλλειψης αυτών είναι και η ανθεκτικότητα πιστεύω, καθώς - εμπειρικά - τα βρίσκω το πιο επιρρεπές σε βλάβες σημείο ενός χειριστηρίου.
It is only suitable for old 2D games where you don't need to control the camera. I expected something else from its price, the only good thing is that it fits in your pocket, but I didn't want it for that reason

It connects instantly via Bluetooth to anything, from Android to PC. It fits in any pocket and is lightweight, while its battery lasts 15-18 hours, which is exceptional for its size. I only give it 3 stars for the one thing I never expected 8bitdo to disappoint me on, the buttons. The only good thing about them is that they are quiet. Otherwise, they are all very shallow and don't provide good feedback, the same goes for the D-pad. The buttons on the back are even worse, with a poor feel and a slightly awkward design. You might say, did you expect more travel on the buttons for this size? I would say it's okay if I didn't also have the Lite 2. Everything is greatly improved there, and the buttons are excellent with much greater depth. So if you're going to spend the 25-30 euros they ask for, which already seem like a steep price to me, it's better to spend them on the Lite 2.
Με τη σειρά Lite νομίζω ότι η 8bitdo έχει βρει τη χρυσή τομή ανάμεσα σε φορητότητα και χρηστικότητα. Το Zero π.χ. που επίσης έχω είναι τραγικά μικρό, γεγονός που το καθιστά σχεδόν άχρηστο. To Lite με εξέπληξε θετικά στο πόσο βολικό είναι παρά το μικρό του μέγεθος. Κουμπώνει τέλεια στο (δικό μου τουλάχιστον) χέρι, μπορείς να παίξεις αρκετά απαιτητικά παιχνίδια και η κατασκευή του μοιάζει πολύ ποιοτική με εξαιρετικό ματ πλαστικό. Συνδέεται άμεσα μέσω bluetooth με ότι θες, από android μέχρι PC. Χωράει σε οποιαδήποτε τσέπη και είναι πανάλαφρο, ενώ η μπαταρία του κρατάει 15-18 ώρες, εξαιρετική για αυτό το μέγεθος. Του βάζω 3 μόνο αστεράκια για το μόνο πράγμα που δεν περίμενα ποτέ η 8bitdo να με απογοητεύσει, τα κουμπιά του. Το μόνο καλό τους είναι ότι είναι αθόρυβα. Κατά τ' άλλα είναι όλα τρομερά “ρηχά” στο πάτημα και δεν δίνουν καθόλου καλό feedback, το ίδιο και οι σταυροί. Τα πλήκτρα στη πλάτη μοιάζουν ακόμα χειρότερα με κακή αίσθηση και λίγο άβολο σχεδιασμό. Θα μου πείτε περίμενες μεγαλύτερο travel στα κουμπιά σε αυτό το μέγεθος? Θα έλεγα ότι είναι εντάξει αν δεν είχα στην κατοχή μου και το Lite 2. Εκεί όλα είναι τρομερά βελτιωμένα και τα κουμπιά είναι εξαιρετικά με πολύ μεγαλύτερο "βάθος". Οπότε αν είναι να δώσετε τα 25-30 ευρώ που ζητάνε και μου φαίνονται ήδη τσιμπημένη τιμή καλύτερα δώστε τα για το Lite 2.

I tried playing Asphalt 9: Legends with it and it worked great. This means it will easily handle many racing games. It is suitable for the Nintendo Switch Lite (like the one I have) and I believe it was made for this. It fits comfortably in a case for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, as long as it is slightly larger and not one of those slim ones.

Χωράει άνετα σε μια θήκη και του Nintendo Switch και Switch Lite αρκεί να είναι λίγο μεγάλη και όχι από αυτές τις λεπτές.
Wonderful product from 8BitDo. Extremely lightweight and high quality. On their website and in the manual, they only mention compatibility with Switch and PC. Personally, I tried it in s (I don't want to say switch) mode and it worked great on Android with Super Tux Kart. I even tried it on a computer with a Linux operating system and, to my surprise, it worked perfectly in x mode (both wired and wireless). I love its design and highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't want joysticks, at a price of 20-25€. One advantage of not having them is the durability, as - empirically - I find it to be the most susceptible to damage point of a controller.

Λατρεύω το σχεδιασμό του, και το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα στα 20-25€ για όποιον δε θέλει τα joysticks. Ένα plus της έλλειψης αυτών είναι και η ανθεκτικότητα πιστεύω, καθώς - εμπειρικά - τα βρίσκω το πιο επιρρεπές σε βλάβες σημείο ενός χειριστηρίου.
It is only suitable for old 2D games where you don't need to control the camera. I expected something else from its price, the only good thing is that it fits in your pocket, but I didn't want it for that reason

I bought it to play games that run on the Switch emulators (SNES, GBA, etc.). Its build quality is good. The D-pad is similar to the GBA's and is a bit larger. The battery lasts a very long time. Η μπαταρία κρατάει πάρα πολύ . Είναι πολύ μικρό με αποτέλεσμα από την μία να μεταφέρεται πολύ εύκολα από την άλλη μπορεί να μην βολέψει στο κράτημα ( έχω πολύ μεγάλα χέρια και κατέληξα να αλλάξω τρόπο λαβής ) . The reason it was purchased was for Nintendo DS emulation needs. After much searching for something portable that exactly matches the layout of the Nintendo DS, I found this amazing little console. Beyond how faithful it feels for the purpose I got it for (the feel of the buttons is similar to the DS I had as a kid), it can cover a wide range of games, confidently all 2D, but also some relaxed-paced 3D games like 3D Pokémon. The build quality is very good, as with all the company's products, the buttons make a hard click unlike most 8BitDo and even the other two versions of the upcoming ones (Lite 2, Lite SE). Generally, I will use it for other games as well because it is incredibly portable without exposing joysticks at risk, depending on whether I feel comfortable with the D-Pad. A subjective issue here, but I am sure it will work well for quite a few Nintendo games at least.
Aside from the Joycons, it is the only quality option with a hard click on the buttons and the scale of a portable Nintendo console. It is definitely a product for specific situations like mine, but especially for such a purpose, it is worth an additional €10. If you know you like 2D and generally games before a Joystick becomes necessary, buy it without hesitation.
Ο λόγος για τον οποίο αγοράστηκε ήταν για ανάγκες emulation Nintendo DS. Μετά από πολύ αναζήτηση για κάτι φορητό που να καλύπτει ακριβώς την διάταξη του Nintendo DS, βρήκα αυτήν την εκπληκτική μικρή κονσόλα. Πέραν από το πόσο πιστή αίσθηση δίνει για τον σκοπό που την πήρα (η αίσθηση των κουμπιών είναι όμοια με το DS που είχα μικρός), μπορεί να καλύψει ένα ευρύ φάσμα παιχνιδιών, άφοβα όλα τα 2D, αλλά και κάποια 3D χαλαρού ρυθμού όπως τα 3D Pokémon. Η κατασκευή είναι πολύ καλή όπως και όλα τα προϊόντα της εταίρας, τα κουμπιά κάνουν σκληρό κλικ σε αντίθεση με τις περισσότερες 8BitDo και μάλιστα τις άλλες δύο εκδοχές της επικείμενης (Lite 2, Lite SE). Γενικά θα την χρησιμοποιώ και για άλλα παιχνίδια επειδή είναι τρομερά φορητή χωρίς να κινδυνεύουν εκτεθειμένα joysticks, αναλόγως το αν νιώθω άνετα με τα D-Pad. Υποκειμενικό ζήτημα εδώ, αλλά είμαι σίγουρος πως θα βολέψει για αρκετά παιχνίδια της Nintendo τουλάχιστον.
Πέρα από τα Joycons, είναι η μόνη ποιοτική επιλογή με σκληρό κλικ στα πλήκτρα και κλίμακα φορητής κονσόλας Nintendo. Είναι σίγουρα προϊόν για συγκεκριμένες καταστάσεις όπως την δική μου, αλλά ειδικά για τέτοιο σκοπό αξίζει και 10€ επιπλέον. Αν ξέρετε ότι σας αρέσουν τα 2D και γενικότερα παιχνίδια πριν γίνει απαραίτητο το Joystick, πάρτε την άφοβα.
