I have been involved with bv for 30 years. It's the best I've ever held in my hands. The only negative might be that the laminated leather slightly sours, but this was necessary so it doesn't absorb water. Correct spin with the ball sticking to the palm, correct bounce upon hitting, correct size and weight, can be played with a little wind. Plus, the colors are very nice. All other companies have indeed produced respectable balls, but they fall short in some of the technical aspects I mentioned above.
Of course, I recommend it.
