Players will fight across Pandora to prevent Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known as "the Warrior." Their effort will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the original game – most notably the 4 old Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai. They, along with some brand-new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.

Brand new characters and new classes: The Assassin, Siren, and Soldier return. Also take on the role of the deadly Gunzerker with the ability to dual-wield for simultaneous use of two weapons - also choose from one of the many available classes.
