Apart from the low price, it is a very high-quality microphone. I connected it to an m-track duo interface and it produces very satisfactory results. It has nothing to envy from much more expensive microphones. Compared to the xm8500, in my own ears, the sl84c does a better job in speech frequencies, does not muddy the lows, and has a wider range in the highs. Its body is metallic and sturdy while the head is plastic. It would be good to use a windscreen filter, as the head does not do such a good job in reducing air from explosive sounds.

I connect it to the xenyx 502 console and in combination with the console, it does a very good job, and it is very durable (it has fallen down 10 times and hasn't suffered any damage!) Its case is very practical.
The only negative thing about this microphone is that it doesn't come with a cable, and an XLR cable costs almost as much as the microphone itself. It is the most quality microphone for its price (13€)
