• MaitakeGold® – Provided exclusively by Nutramins™ and is the best Maitake extract in the world. In 1984, Dr. Hiroaki Nanba of the Pharmaceutical Hospital in Kobe City, Japan, began working with his team to create a drinkable extract from the Maitake mushroom (Grifola frondosa) that helps strengthen the immune system. This research led to a significant discovery at the end of the 1990s, when the team identified an innate substance in the Maitake extract that inhibited the beneficial immune-boosting properties of the extract. Dr. Nanba's research team managed to develop a method to eliminate this substance from the extract, a success that was rewarded with the granting of a U.S. patent (patent number: 5,854,404).
