First of all, let me emphasize that the card plays on a professional sound system or pa, where even the smallest details are heard, such as the slightest difference in sound intensity, quality, and so on. It is also combined with equalizer apo and vst plugins. The card is used for high and low-quality music sound processing, general gaming, movies, and other simple uses. The first thing I noticed is that I heard sounds that I didn't hear before. The second thing I noticed is that both the new and old sounds, meaning the ones I heard and the ones I didn't hear before, were much more distinct from each other and of much better quality, with better intensity, clearer dynamics, and a wider range. The card produces very good sound, with sharp trebles, full bass, and nicely rendered mid-range frequencies such as speech and some instruments. Overall, it is a very good choice for its price, with nothing to lose. As for the commander, sometimes it loses connection. It has three updates: the first is the driver update, the second is the application update, and the third is the firmware update. In case of a sudden power outage or during updates, or if a blue screen appears, the card may lose its settings a bit. You can go into the system and do a refresh, either by uninstalling it as a device or by updating the drivers, and most of the time it recovers without even restarting

First of all, I will mention that I bought it from the Creative website because if I had waited for a Greek store, I would have gotten it next year. Especially now (Feb '21), it is on sale with the Aurvana Live SE headphones as a gift, which cost 100€ from the company.

As a DAC in this price range, it was the only option for me since I wanted to use my existing 5.1 speakers. If I had 2 speakers or just headphones, I would definitely go for the G6, if not Schiit or another company.

I had heard bad reviews about the Command, but personally, I liked it and it allowed me to adjust my speakers, reminding me of the good old days with Audigy2 ZS. Countless settings and options. I also tried a Plantronics headset that I had, and I can say that what really "makes" this device is its software (Soundblaster Command). In direct mode with the speakers, I can't say I was impressed, but with the DT 770 Pro headphones and depending on the genre of music, the sound is good.

So far, it has shown me 3 malfunctions in which the X3 had lag in synchronization with the Command and controlling the volume in Windows, and additionally, the EQ profile switch did not apply the changes to the output. This was fixed by unplugging/re-plugging the cable into the motherboard. Creative Support told me 1) to avoid overclocking the memory and the Ryzen's IF because an undetectable instability, despite the tests, affects the USB devices that "pass through" it, 2) to wait for the new AMD AGESA for malfunctions during heavy CPU usage from another program, 3) to try another cable, 4) to reinstall the Command, and 5) to run the Creative diagnostic tool if the problem occurs again.

I don't particularly need SuperXFi since I use 5.1 speakers. However, the "SXFI app" found the device via Bluetooth, but it didn't pair with anything, and that's somewhat negative. On the contrary, the "SB Command app" paired and allowed me to control the X3. The SXFI profile (Gen.2) with ear-mapping is "linked" to the account on Creative, so it easily downloads via SoundBlaster Command on Win10.

Of course, the X3 is immediately recognized and works on Win10 without installing anything. The device, with the latest firmware, is turned off with the PC shutdown.

It doesn't have RGB lighting and gimmicks. However, it has enough colors on the knob ring and the 3 buttons to distinguish each function. It has a sturdy plastic construction. I believe it is a very good "idea" as a device, but it needs some refinement. When and if the (not so frequent) crashes stop, then it deserves 5 stars.

Excellent product worth every euro, I cannot understand why there are no comments to help someone in market research because let's face it, the price is high. So, I am the owner of LG HOME CINEMA LG LHB655NW 5.1 connection with optical fiber, the 2 rear surround speakers are wireless, I messed up because they didn't have volume, but as soon as I connected the sound bluster x3, installed the driver program and entered the sbx profile, it has a setting for the volume of the surround, my jaw dropped, I said okay, problem solved, it has installed modes for music, movies, games.

After easily dealing with the home cinema, it's time for the headset, owner of Logitech 332 with a cable, quite decent for their price (50 euros), the issue I had with them was that they didn't have volume, I activated the SUPER X-FI, now I'm amazed, wonderful crystal clear powerful sound, perfect 7.1 virtual surround without exaggeration, to understand how much the volume increased in music with strong bass, before I said okay, now my ears are trembling. Anyone interested in creating a very good living room, blah blah blah, I highly recommend it with closed eyes, oh and one last thing, SOUND BLUSTER and minds blown
