39 + 1 stories of science that will... blow your mind. One of the most popular shows on Greek YouTube is now in book form, from the person who managed to showcase the magic of science in simple words. Mikeius explains the most incredible scientific myths drawing examples from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Philosophy, and Engineering.

What would a realistic alien invasion look like? What is the "War of Currents"? Why is Thanos wrong? Could Einstein have been mistaken? If you are a fan of "What the fact!?" on YouTube, you won't be able to put this book down!

The book includes videos in QR code with a message from Mikeius exclusively for its readers.

What they said about Mikeius:

Mikeius is one of the most well-known YouTubers in recent years. Hundreds of thousands of children have been watching his videos for years, while hundreds of thousands of older people are completely oblivious to his presence. He is the star of a world that is continuously growing. – Iasonas Karamtzos, Protagon.gr

Think of your expression when you find more money in your pocket than you think you have. Well, that’s your face when you see a "BRAP" or read a text from Michalis. – Fenia Biniari, Oneman.gr

Whether you like him or not, the truth is that he is a guy who, along with his team at Comedy Lab, has managed to create something in Greece starting from scratch. – Vice.com

Mikeius studied at the School of Mechanical Engineering of NTUA but pursued a career in media. He started as a blogger and in 2011 collaborated with ComedyLab for the first mainstream show on Greek Internet. Since then, he has been producing content for YouTube in some of the platform’s most popular series, such as "BRAP," "Bury the Script," and "The Skeptical Kafros." Since 2017, he has been promoting the broadcasting of science to the general public with the show "What the Fact!?"

    1) Non-elementary scientific training/prestige. The NTUA has been abandoned. What a pity. He doesn't even have a degree from a vocational school.
    2) A clichéd, superficial writing style that I personally did not like. A cheerful American tone. No documentation at all.
    3) Inherent lack of seriousness: Our good author organized a Harlem Shake in Thiseio in 2013, during the period when Greece was entering the darkest phase of its modern history (memoranda).
    4) It is aimed at children, and I wonder if the language he uses in the title, like "they will blow your brain (!) up," is appropriate? Nice positive image? Probably not. It's splatter! A pedagogical blunder. Language is everything, ladies and gentlemen. Because it's not just about what information we give to the world, but also how we give it.

Perfect!! Those who say it's "the same as the videos" probably didn't read the title.. The book was released for those who would prefer the print version over the video... And for those who want it in both formats...

I am a big fan of Mikeus and especially his "What the Fact" series. However, as a book, I would say it is a faithful copy of his YouTube videos, word for word, with the only difference being the illustrations. Therefore, in my opinion, it is better for someone to watch his work online rather than buying the book, unless they want to have the texts of the videos in a tangible form.

I recommend it if you haven't seen the videos.

Worst book with many scientific gaps, how is it possible for something like this to be published without scientific validation? Avoid it!

This is a textual representation of the corresponding episodes from YouTube. The commendable aspect of the author's effort in this particular book lies in the fact that he managed to instill an interest in science in a huge number of children, teenagers, and even adults, mainly through his online activity, and this book comes to seal this effort.

I read it in 3 days, simple, easy, and interesting... it's like the episodes of what the fact with the difference that you can stop and think about what it says, as many times as you want.
The only reason to rate the book poorly is if you hate Mikeus

If I could give it minus 10 stars, I would.... Truly awful and worst of all; I bought it for my friend who has the same opinion. The person, whose exact profession I don't know, has gathered ready-made information and presents them with a more relaxed vocabulary. The tone... It's as if they are a great scientist.... What can I say.... And it could be worse!
