Two-Way Communication

The best way to soothe your baby is to make them feel close to mom and dad. The two-way communication feature allows you to talk to your little one at any time and from anywhere. Hear even the slightest sound from their nursery and talk to them or reassure them with words, stories, or songs of your choice.

For absolutely clear and sharp image, with enhanced brightness, all day long.

Room Temperature Monitoring

The built-in room temperature sensor transmits the measurements to the parent unit. This way, you can always have control, taking appropriate actions if the temperature in the baby's room is not as desired.

Long range up to 300m

Freedom of movement is very important for all parents! For this reason, Vtech offers you extensive flexibility, as it has an enhanced range of up to 300 meters outdoors and 50 meters indoors!

Select the sound level

It allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the baby unit's microphone. The microphone sensitivity determines the noise level detected by the baby unit, e.g., you will want to hear when your baby cries, but you may be less interested in the murmuring.

Baby intercom system and what to watch out for during use

1. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib, nor in a spot where the baby can grab it with their hands. On the other hand, the further away you place it, the more the sound clarity decreases. Conduct tests and place the unit at the farthest point from the child, from where the device can still pick up even the lowest sounds and transmit them clearly.
2. The baby should not be able to reach the device's connection/charging cables. Ensure they do not have access to them.
3. Check if the parent unit goes out of range, runs out of battery, or is on mute or low volume while it is not in your line of sight. The out-of-range or battery replacement/recharging alert functions that many intercom systems have are useful in this regard.

    I haven't used it outside the house (e.g. to go upstairs), but inside the house, which is 90 square meters, it has a very good signal, clear (relatively) picture, and very good sound (you can still hear it even if the baby changes sides).
    I can't say that the battery lasts very long, but it doesn't bother me because I have the charger available at all times since I'm at home.
    I recommend it.

    I read in other comments that it doesn't pick up small sounds. They probably haven't set the settings correctly because it even picks up the sound of our dog's nails when he walks or the little machines passing by outside. Indeed, the battery in the parent unit runs out quickly, but it's not a problem.

    The device unfortunately is not worth its money. It never captures the baby's normal sounds, only loud crying. Almost always, the baby's sound is heard first from the room and then from the device, given that our room is next to it. The battery lasts very little when not plugged in. The only good thing is the camera that allows you to see the baby from afar without going to their crib.

    Bad experience with this specific product. 1. The camera DOES NOT have a battery, it needs to be constantly plugged in. 2. The monitor does not hold a charge for more than 1-1.30 hours. 3. It does not open with the baby's movement, only with sound. 4. Even so, it does not open with low sounds, but only when the baby cries loudly.
