They definitely keep the cold very well, but I am not at all pleased that they are so big and inflexible. Let me explain, they reach up to half of my shin and are quite rigid as they have a hard foam inside to stand upright. This makes it difficult for maneuvering when parking under the motorcycle. I removed the foam and cut them about 10 centimeters shorter, now they are much more convenient but less warm, which doesn't bother me because they still do their job well.
