The SKC SKC2025 tap set is designed for cutting internal threads in metal surfaces. It includes three taps for successive cutting stages: No. 1 for easy starting in unprepared material, No. 2 for general use or when the thread does not need to reach the bottom of the hole, and No. 3 for threading all the way to the bottom of the hole.

Before use, a hole must first be drilled with a rotary drill. Threading can be done with a tap wrench or tap ratchet, while cutting oil makes the process easier.
