The EverActive NC-1600 charger charges AA or AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries using 16 independent channels. Each battery is charged separately, and the slots can be used in any configuration, capacity or combination of manufacturers. The illuminated LCD displays a separate indicator for each slot and the charge level in graphic form.

Charging is controlled by a microprocessor with -dV detection. The refresh function allows batteries to be discharged on demand, and protection is provided against short circuits, incorrect battery insertion and overheating.
