"Who Moved My Cheese?" is a story about change that happens in a maze, where four amusing characters are searching for "Cheese." Cheese is, of course, a metaphor for anything we want in life, such as a job, a relationship, money, a big house, freedom, health, recognition, spiritual peace, or even a hobby like jogging or golf.
Everyone has their own perspective on what Cheese is; we pursue it because we believe it will make us happy. When we find it, we often become attached to it. And when we lose it or it's taken away from us, the experience can be traumatic.
The "Maze" in the story represents the place where you spend your time searching for what you want.
