Description

Urinary Struvite is a dietary food, specially designed to prevent the formation of struvite crystals. 

- Struvite is a common but well-treatable condition. Urinary Struvite reduces the pH of urine, preventing the formation of struvite crystals. Combined with reduced mineral content (magnesium), the recurrence of formation is further reduced.

- The food maintains a low urine pH to neutralize the basic environment caused by inflammatory products associated with infections.

- The magnesium content is at a safe low level, ensuring that long-term preventive use does not pose a risk of hypomagnesemia.

- Limits the intake of proteins and inorganic components that lead to the formation of struvite.

- Can be given in combination with multifunctional treats (lamb and rabbit).

Feeding Tip

  • Treatment for 6-8 weeks with Urinary Struvite after issues related to struvite prevents its recurrence and enhances the full recovery of the lower urinary tract.
  • After this period, Urinary Struvite food can be used for life as a complete dietary food.
  • Not suitable for puppies, pregnant, lactating bitches, dogs receiving urine acidifiers, or dogs with urinary stones not caused by struvite.
