An English lady, a beautiful cook, a fearsome pirate, a coquette who walks on ceilings, a spoiled girl, a sleepy "lion," a scared boy, a boring baroness, a forgotten general, an acrobat at a circus, and a 7-year-old boy.
What stories do they have to tell, and who can listen to them? Are there ghosts in this mansion?
Sophiana Theofanous introduces herself to the young reading audience with a ghost story. Written in the form of small portrait poems, each ghost speaks about its life to Timos, the young resident who has just moved into the mansion.
Their stories, sometimes funny, sometimes tender, sometimes bitter or nostalgic, definitely have much to say and touch upon our own sensitive strings.
