The volume gathers ten theatrical studies from my research inquiries that concern, apart from the first and last chapters, mainly issues of historical performance documentation and dramaturgical analysis.

They focus, with one exception, on the Mediterranean region, exploring unknown or barely known aspects of Greek dramaturgy and intercultural influences between Greek theater and that of other countries.
