The second edition of Histology is not a mere reprint of the first. On the contrary, it contains several improvements, additions, and some new images, while leaving the volume of its content almost untouched.
This reflects the author's continuous effort to present, in a condensed form but with all possible scientific coverage and the necessary illustrations, the most fundamental knowledge regarding the structure of tissues and organs of the body.
This edition also significantly enhances the overall presentation of the work, as both the text and the microphotographs have been rendered with much greater success.
It should be noted, however, that any observations or critiques that could contribute to the further improvement of this writing would be welcomed with sincere gratitude.
