The image is blurry and the autofocus keeps going on. It is not accompanied by software and you cannot adjust parameters. After a lot of reading and searching, there are many people with the same problem. It is probably a defect but the store where it was purchased has closed. I couldn't get any help from Microsoft on this and the warranty is lost.

Overall, it is a good value for money webcam. ALL of them fail in low lighting, so if you are looking for something that does it all, it's not worth the trouble. The image is decent with enough light, but it doesn't have software to adjust it. Unfortunately, the lack of features personally bothers me, so I give it a 4. I am always at a standard distance and I can't disable the auto focus that sometimes messes up (especially in low light)
γενικά είναι μια καλή vfm webcam. ΟΛΕΣ αποτυγχάνουν σε χαμηλό φωτισμό οπότε αν ψάχνετε κάτι που να τα κάνει όλα, τσάμπα κόπος. Η εικόνα είναι πολύ τίμια με αρκετό φως αλλά δεν έχει software για να την πειράξεις. δυστυχώς η έλλειψη δυνατοτήτων με ενοχλεί προσωπικά και βάζω το 4. είμαι πάντα σε στάνταρ απόσταση και δεν μπορώ να βγάλω το auto focus που τα παθαίνει που και που (ειδικά σε low light)

I have not been able to make it work on Windows 10, it is recognized as a camera but without any image. It works on Windows 7, but in Webex it sometimes has an image and sometimes it does not.

In Linux Mint 20, it works perfectly, it attaches to the screen better than any other camera I have used, the cable is long, and the quality of the image and sound is excellent. The blue light at the top is slightly (very slightly) annoying.
Σε Linux Mint 20 δουλεύει άψογα, στερεώνεται στην οθόνη καλύτερα από οποιαδήποτε άλλη κάμερα έχω χρησιμοποιήσει, το καλώδιο είναι μακρύ και η ποιότητα της εικόνας και του ήχου είναι άριστη. Είναι λίγο (πολύ λίγο) ενοχλητικό το μπλε φωτάκι στην κορυφή του.
It is a very old camera, I had bought 2 of them 10 years ago, back then FHD cameras were rare, the cheapest one was 80€ and I found them for 40€ from Greece with Microsoft warranty, it surprises me that after all these years it still maintains a price of 75€!
Sometimes the system couldn't handle the FHD resolution and it would create horizontal lines, and I had to lower the resolution. With Windows 10, if it connects on its own without needing to download any software, you are lucky (which I don't think you will have a problem with 10), because forget about downloading anything from Microsoft, some software that it had before disappeared!
In the past, it had a different software where in the photo you could take 8 MP pictures, now with the new one it goes up to 1920X1080!
Overall, if it hadn't given me trouble with the software and compatibility issues in the past, I would give it 5 stars. But check the price though..
I no longer use it except for voice dictation, but unfortunately it doesn't even do that well, it can't accurately capture the words. I do a better job with a microphone worth 2.5 euros from jumbo!
Είναι πολύ παλιά κάμερα, είχα αγοράσει 2 τέτοιες πριν 10 χρόνια, τότε σπάνιζαν οι FHD κάμερες, είχε τότε 80€ η φθηνότερη και τις βρήκα με 40€ από Ελλάδα και εγγύηση Microsoft, μου κάνει εντύπωση που διατηρεί μετά από τόσα χρόνια την τιμή των 75€!
Κάποιες φορές δεν άντεχε το σύστημα την FHD ανάλυση και έκανε οριζόντιες γραμμές & έπρεπε να ρίξω την ανάλυση, με windows 10 αν σαν συνδεθεί μόνη της και δεν χρειαστεί να κατεβάσετε κάποιο λογισμικό είστε τυχεροί (που δεν νομίζω να έχετε πρόβλημα με 10), γιατί για να κατεβάσετε από την Microsoft ξεχάστετο, κάτι λογισμικά που είχε παλιότερα εξαφανίστηκαν!
Παλαιοτέρα είχε ένα άλλο λογισμικό που στην φωτογραφία τραβάτε φωτο 8 ΜP, τώρα με το νέο τραβά εως 1920Χ1080!
Σε γενικές γραμμές αν δεν με είχε παιδέψει με τα λογισμικά και τις ασυμβατότητες στο παρελθόν θα της έβαζα 5 αστέρια, Ψάξτε την τιμή όμως..
Δεν την χρησιμοποιώ πλέον παρά μόνο για μικρόφωνο υπαγόρευσης, αλλά ούτε για αυτό δεν κάνει δυστυχώς, δεν μπορεί να συλλάβει με ακρίβεια τις λέξεις, κάνω καλύτερη δουλειά με ένα μικρόφωνο από τα jumbo αξίας 2,5 ευρώ!!

We must say that overall it is an easy and functional camera. I noticed that sometimes it gets stuck on focus and needs help with lighting to have good performance and clarity. For its price, I consider it good and on par with Logitech, which is considerably more expensive. I highly recommend it for amateur and semi-professional use!

Satisfactory image, honest colors without distortions, average sound due to microphone placement on top, excellent base with tripod screw (why don't all cameras have this?), sturdy construction (even the touch makes you think it's made of aluminum), overall a decent value for money product, I recommend it for any use (except maybe for professional broadcast, it doesn't have the dynamics of an expensive pro solution)

I think it is one of the best webcams and cannot be compared to the Logitech ones. It may be expensive, but you won't need to buy another webcam within a year. I highly recommend it, and the autofocus is not comparable to those 30-40 euro webcams!

After a lot of reading and searching, there are many people with the same problem. It is probably a defect but the store where it was purchased has closed. I couldn't get any help from Microsoft on this and the warranty is lost.

Σε Linux Mint 20 δουλεύει άψογα, στερεώνεται στην οθόνη καλύτερα από οποιαδήποτε άλλη κάμερα έχω χρησιμοποιήσει, το καλώδιο είναι μακρύ και η ποιότητα της εικόνας και του ήχου είναι άριστη. Είναι λίγο (πολύ λίγο) ενοχλητικό το μπλε φωτάκι στην κορυφή του.
