I have the BC-601 scale, produced in 2011, which is exactly the same as this model and I had bought it back then for 280 euros.
This scale is a war dog, it doesn't flinch over the years.
The only thing that has changed in appearance, as you will see in the photos, is the slight yellowing of the lower white part due to over 10 years of use.
    Now for the basics.
The measurements you will see are basically the same as those you would get from a nutritionist, with very little deviation.
For the measurement to be accurate, it must be done at a specific morning hour when you are fasting and after you have relieved yourself.
Subsequent measurements should again be at the same time as the first and not at a completely different time or after breakfast, lunch, etc., because otherwise you will get different results, which is also the reason some people comment about inaccurate measurements.
Also, since the scale keeps your results on a stick, even if they are completely wrong compared to a nutritionist (which they are not, but just saying), you can use your previous measurements to see exactly what progress you have made.
The only reason I would get rid of this scale is to go for the more expensive model so I can have the results on my phone via Bluetooth, as it would be more convenient for me.

Extremely reliable machine. Lightweight and easily portable. It simply requires a hard surface to function properly, such as a floor and not on top of a carpet or rug.
