Description

Why Street Food? Because it’s fantastic! Fresh, incredibly delicious food that you see being cooked and eat right away, with your hands, hassle-free.

Good street food has no hidden tricks up its sleeve. Everything is made right in front of you, at the moment you order it. It’s fast (even when it’s cooked slowly) and captures your attention the moment you hold it in your hands.

Moreover, street food is multifaceted. Dishes that are connected to the traditions and habits of many different regions of the globe, with a presentation that doesn’t try to impress and a serving style that invites you to enjoy it just the way you like.

With street food, you can be yourself. You don’t care where you eat it, how you eat it, whether you are alone or with friends. The star is the food, in its purest, simplest, most authentic form.

Just like in these recipes, which aim to fill your home with aromas and flavors from around the world.

This is the definition of street food, the food of the city, created to satisfy millions of people in every corner of the world. A simple, affordable, and... relaxed food, despite the fact that it is eaten "on the go." Its whole meaning lies in these three elements and especially in its simplicity, which helped it evolve from an emergency solution to the ultimate gastronomic obsession! Today, New Age Street Food maintains its multicultural identity but goes beyond the familiar framework of hot dog – bagel – souvlaki and burger. Other flavors are now part of the game and—believe me—they play a strong role. Flavors from every corner of the world, in every corner of the world. Flavors that create memories and are instantly connected to their places of origin. After all, this is the power of street food: to travel and to take us on a journey. Where to find it, you already know: on busy streets and in hidden alleys.

Unfortunately disappointing for me. A book about Street food that even in the introduction gives the definition of Street food for something you eat "on the go" but most of the recipes are for dishes that you can only eat in a restaurant, such as braised rabbit...
Anyway, it's not a waste of money nor is it a bad recipe book but it doesn't deliver what it promises.
I would have liked it if it also wrote a few words about each recipe, from which part of the world it is and why it is preferred there, for example, or something like that for enrichment and not just to be the recipe and its execution.

Tell us a few words, my child, I see the plain recipes on the internet. Give us a presentation, about the recipe, its place, the people behind it. Something to give the book a little value and as a book, to take us on a journey along with the food and the culture it brings with it.

It has various categories, so everyone can find it attractive. What I liked the most is that it has different sauces depending on the meat, which you can't find on the website. The only negative is that it doesn't have any sweets at all, but that's a minor drawback!
