I have had the tool for about a year now. I haven't used it as much compared to some other batteries I have (although I stopped using batteries after I got this), but the tool is quite sturdy, lightweight, and well-balanced in the hand. Its quality is comparable to the company's reputation, and it seems like it will last for many years. It is indeed a very user-friendly drill that you can operate with one hand, but with the added advantage of the drill driver that allows you to adjust 20 torque positions and, above all, it is electric-powered, so it is always "ready for action"! Its country of origin is China, but as the Greek representative informed me, there is a Makita factory in China, so there is no issue of authenticity.

The only possible negative thing I could mention is that, like all electric drills, it doesn't have an auto stop (immediate chuck stop) when you release the trigger (like most batteries do). However, this hasn't been a concern for me because when it is under load and due to its relatively small motor, the chuck slows down almost immediately after releasing the trigger.

For anyone using it in a workshop and not needing portability, I would recommend it as a one-stop solution to permanently get rid of the problems of batteries that need replacement every now and then!

September 15, 2022: The tool is an impact driver! The friend below who mentions that it is not must have bought the Makita DF0300, which indeed is not an impact driver!

I also have another Black & Decker battery-powered tool. It's good, but with a full battery, it couldn't drive the screw all the way down (and we're talking about pine wood, not other types of wood), so I had to tighten it afterwards with a screwdriver. That's why I bought this particular one, with a cord for continuous power, and to have another one as well. I tested this one on oak, walnut, cherry, and Oregon wood. All the screws went in, all the way down into the wood. It's a good machine, you can feel the quality in your hand. It's also a drill, so you don't have to change tools when you're working. The only downside is that when it arrived, I saw that it was made in China, not in Romania like the other two Makita drills I have. I would have returned it, but for the 60-something I paid for it, the fact that I needed it for work and had been waiting for it for 14 days, I took the risk and didn't send it back.
