Battery Life

Battery life shows how many days the smartwatch can operate without charging.

It depends on the battery capacity, but also on how much you use it (e.g. active display, GPS, notifications, etc.).

For example, a smartwatch with 2-3 days of battery life is ideal for daily use with all features enabled.

Models with 5–10 days or more are suitable for those who do not want to charge often or use it more "lightly".

The value is especially meaningful when comparing products from the same manufacturer.
Display Type

MIP

MIP screens consume minimal energy and remain visible in bright sunlight, making them ideal for smartwatches focused on battery life and outdoor sports activities.
Waterproof

Sea Swimming

The smartwatch offers enhanced durability so you can wear it in the sea. Resistant to saltwater and tough marine conditions, it is the ideal companion for your summer adventures.

Good evening ... after 2 years with the Stratos 2, from which I was incredibly satisfied, I decided to trust the next model again ... I got it on sale for 140 euros ... luckily because it's not worth more by any means ...
Unfortunately ... it was measured and found lacking ... the company seems to have abandoned the model and does not make any more updates to fix its problems.
1. The GPS, although incredibly accurate even compared to expensive Garmin devices, sometimes takes a long time to catch a signal, you know, forever ...
2. The battery lasts ... a maximum of 3 days with use ...
3. And the worst part ... the smart functions ... all over the place ... notifications come whenever they remember ... if they remember ...
4. The Bluetooth only works when the device is in your hand or pocket ... within 2 meters, it shows that it's losing connection ...
Simply ... don't get it ..

After 1 year of use. As a smartwatch, it's not worth it, but as a sportswatch, it has incredible accuracy. In workouts like HIT, it doesn't accurately measure heart rate due to movement, it requires a heart rate monitor strap. It syncs with any BT supported device. The screen is not as bright as it should be and creates a small issue when running in intense sunlight conditions.
It has an incredible feature where you can design workouts through the mobile app, such as interval running, and it keeps track of your times and/or distance and notifies you.
The major downside is the build quality. Both mine and my friend's have developed a round mark on the screen, the size of a lens, as if a pixel has burned out

Not suitable for swimming in a pool. When I press Pause, it immediately goes to the pause screen where it shows pause time, total distance, and time from the beginning of the workout. If I can't see what time and distance I did in my last set, why did I buy it? And during swimming, it only shows total distance and total time.

I have had the watch for 4 days and I have tried it for running.
1. The battery seems to last a little longer than the stratos but less than the honor magic watch2.
2. App notifications and gestures are very good (e.g. the honor magic watch2 does not display the entire message while the stratos/stratos 3 do).
3. Easy connection.
4. Easy synchronization and accurate measurements (as far as we can test it as amateurs) GPS.
5. The screen is easily distinguishable even in bright sunlight.
6. I consider the heart rate measurement to be good.
It is more of a sportwatch and less of a smartwatch

To comment after 4 months of use. It was purchased due to its low price and the ability to connect with Strava. I should mention that I am not interested in the smart functions. I got it as a sportwatch. Of course, I don't mind receiving notifications from the watch when they come. I am involved in running, cycling, and swimming in a pool. Running: The GPS locks relatively quickly and measures fairly accurately. I have set it to use Beidou. I believe Glonass and Galileo measure much more altitude. The heart rate readings are also correct. Sometimes it freezes and doesn't measure, but it recovers quickly. Something that bothers me a lot is the altitude indication it shows in all sport modes in smart mode. There is also an ultra mode for battery saving, but while it shows the altitude during the exercise, when the screen locks, it shows a different altitude. It's all over the place. Hey, stupid, why are you showing me 2 altitudes? Should I choose? Show one, even if it's wrong. The other good thing is that it allows you to do workouts on the beach in Thessaloniki and it shows an altitude of -8. We've become amphibious in old age. Cycling: It doesn't measure heart rate at all. In a 2-hour workout, it can barely measure a quarter. So everything comes out wrong. Recovery effect of training and all the other nonsense it has. Let me also mention that I wear the watch correctly, as I said, it measures correctly during running. Pool: I managed to make about 15 visits to swimming pools before they closed. It probably didn't measure the correct distance in any of them, not even 5. I should mention that in order to measure distance, you have to do strokes. It doesn't measure on the kickboard, like many other watches. So here's a big X. I'm still looking for the professional measurements they advertise on their website. I regret not spending a little more to get a reputable brand like Garmin or Suunto. At least I didn't pay a fortune. Let me also mention the battery. Whether in smart or ultra mode, it doesn't last more than three days. The company promises 7 days when you have everything open. It's pure deception. Of course, if it fixed the other issues, it would be a miracle. Chinese luxury. Either go for a reputable brand or use an app on your phone. The app may not be very accurate, but at least you won't cry over your money. The second star is given due to the low price. P.S. In the second photo, enjoy the altitude on the Thessaloniki waterfront.

Beautiful and fits well in the hand.
However, after the last update, the pulse monitor shows random readings (During exercise, while I know I have 150-160 beats per minute, it shows 100-110).
I hope the issue will be resolved with the next update

I am the owner of the Stratos 3 since August 20th (for 2 weeks now). I have never "invested" in a watch with GPS, although I have been running regularly in recent years. Since 2014, I have been using the Runtastic app, which is free and very reliable. Last summer, I wanted to buy a sports watch, and I was very close to getting the Garmin fenix 5 in the summer of 2019 when it was on sale for less than 400€ (if I'm not mistaken). However, I didn't make that purchase, so this year I found the Stratos 3 for 149€ and after reading several reviews, I decided to buy it. Let me start by saying that this watch is purely for people who exercise regularly and not for occasional use, because the latter category can have reliable measurements and it would be much more cost-effective for them to buy a band. The measurements of the Stratos 3 are reliable, both the GPS and the heart rate monitor on the wrist have very little deviation compared to much more expensive watches that measure heart rate with a chest strap. The GPS is flawless when you are in an open area with few buildings, but it loses accuracy slightly when it is surrounded by buildings. As for the battery, I will say that it drained faster than I expected during the first week, possibly because I was getting used to the watch for the first 4 days or so, with daily athletic activity and GPS usage for at least an hour each day. After the second charge, with daily use and the heart rate monitor measuring every minute, it lasted for 6 days, with the only difference being that I had the screen brightness set to the lowest level. The screen is amazing outdoors because it is reflective, but indoors it needs a little boost from the backlight, even at level 1. The Amazfit app is decent, but the Connect app, which I only use to see friends who have Garmin watches, seems more flexible to me. The sports modes that the Stratos has cover my needs. I have tested it for running, walking, and today swimming in a pool, and it didn't lose a single meter. It is still too early to talk about the build quality, but it feels quite sturdy. The only thing I added was a protective glass for the screen. Unlike the Stratos 2, which had issues with the glass on the heart rate monitor, the Stratos 3 doesn't have such a problem. It is very lightweight, you forget that you are wearing it. If you are looking for a reliable and value-for-money sports watch, the Stratos 3 is the one!

I left the Garmin Fenix 5+ and tried it out as I wanted a better screen and lighter weight. It fully covers my needs as a running watch, as it has all the metrics I need. Good battery life and clarity. The construction is good, but it falls short compared to the Fenix, which of course has triple the price. The mobile app is quite good with room for improvement.

Overall, I recommend it for athletes who want a watch with an IPS screen. It has Bluetooth connectivity (not ANT+) and does not support additional sensors other than the heart rate monitor. It is not suitable for cycling with a power meter, cadence, etc.

I have had it for 2 months and I am considering keeping it as it is worth the money I spent.

Update - with a new faceplate I found on eBay and fitting the quick release straps I had from Garmin, I improved the appearance, which bothered me a little...
The GPS for running is accurate, but for walking/hiking, it sometimes measures less. The lack of connection with external sensors (other than HR) makes it difficult for me in measurements for sports other than running

I have had the watch for almost 2 months and it does exactly what I need, precise measurements especially for the heart. I have the same results compared to a chest strap. The GPS works perfectly on both bike rides and mountain hikes. The battery has slightly disappointed me with the latest update, lasting 5 days (I don't use the music feature). With a remaining battery of 25%, it is recommended and worth the money

Certainly more quality in construction than the previous stratos 2 model, but still does not inspire confidence in its use in water as its plastics appear unreliable and I fear they will come off like in the stratos 2, resulting in water penetration and damage to the motherboard.
The initial measurements are not good. They are bad, but maybe with future updates they will be corrected, otherwise the inaccuracy for such a new model on the market cannot be explained.
Certainly a big mistake to spend so much money at this moment. With so much money, you can get much better watches or the Huawei gt II sport a thousand times. Maybe if the price drops to 100 euros and with some corrective updates, the purchase of the stratos 3 in the future will be more advantageous than it is now. I expected much more from this model in general. With this model, the company definitely lowered the bar.

GENERAL:
Good quality construction with a good strap. Quite good for a sportwatch with many measurements and statistics. You have 4 buttons that cover you 100% if you don't want to use the touch screen, like in swimming or cycling. One downside is that if you do interval training with bursts, it doesn't immediately detect the increase in heart rate. During explosive exercise in 10 seconds, my lungs have given out and it shows 120 heartbeats for warm up. The battery life is normal, it lasts 7 days and 14 depending on the mode. If you want it to last a month, you need to look for another type of watch (band, etc).

CHANGES COMPARED TO STRATOS 2:
POSITIVES:
-Separate application for the barometer and compass.
-You can find your phone from the watch.
-Navigation buttons.
-Better placement of the sensor on the back of the watch.
-On the screen, you can see the sunrise and sunset times depending on your location.
-More sports with the significant addition of multisport, you can use it for the gym, crossfit, or a mix.
-Power-saving mode.
-Magnetic charger. (I hope the magnet withstands time)

NEGATIVES:
-They have removed the brightness sensor (probably) and there is no option for automatic adjustment of screen brightness. There are 4 preset brightness levels.
-In heart rate measurements, there is no graphical representation on the watch, only in the application.
-There is no option to enable/disable continuous heart rate recording. It has been moved exclusively to the application.
