    This lens was purchased to replace its competitor, the Tamron 70-300, with which I had many problems with focusing speed (it was very difficult to photograph moving objects) and especially with focusing accuracy. I would describe it as a decent lens for what it is. The pleasant surprise was that it is much sharper than the Tamron, especially above 200mm, the difference is noticeable not only in sharpness but also in color quality (comparing samples I had taken and doing many tests). The build quality is also better in terms of plastic parts, the zooming is smoother, and the buttons are tighter and do not change position constantly by mistake. The unpleasant surprise, although I expected it a little, was the Nikon stabilizer, which is not the best compared to the Tamron (sometimes you wonder if it's working), but it still helps. Overall, in this category, I highly recommend it compared to any of its competitors.
