As soon as I took it out of the box, I realized that I wasted my money. Cheap construction and unfortunately ineffective. I got it because I wanted loose curls, like a blowout. It can't even do that. If you sit for a long time and take excessively few strands of hair at a time, risking damage, you might succeed, but within 5 minutes they disappear. Additionally, it catches my hair between the barrel and the lid and pulls out strands.
