Astrology is primarily Myth. And what is Myth, but an animated image with attributes of the human (or occasionally subhuman or superhuman) psyche?
Some are discontented that modern astrology has taken the direction of psychological introspection and long for the times when the astrologer was the leader in battle, giving the signal for the attack at a specific hour. Unfortunately for them, humanity has matured since then. It no longer needs astrology to forecast the weather, the rise of the stock market, the evolution of a war, or the rise of inflation. It has other tools for these predictions now.
However, it still needs something that all these models have failed to provide: a very important thing. Meaning. In an era when religion, which used to fulfill this role, is also viewed with suspicion, humanity matures at this level too and no longer seeks meaning based on some father figure. Instead, it looks for the interaction of all things in a holistic universe where everything plays its part, developing fraternal relationships with everything else.
In this sense, the Myth of Astrology is Light and a Lantern of direction in order to get closer to Self-knowledge. And every effort to shed more light on this path is commendable.
This edition features texts by Christina Fouska, Dimitris Panagiotidis, Konstantina Vlahopoulou, and Vasilis Papadolyas, who uniquely narrate the journey of the zodiac cycle.
