The 5W solar charger is used to compensate for the gaps created by natural discharge in 12V batteries. The time required to cover the losses of a battery depends on its capacity. The larger the capacity, the more time is needed to recharge.

The solar charger comes with a 5A regulator to protect the batteries from overcharging. It also includes a 4-meter cable for connection to the regulator and an additional 1-meter cable with alligator clips for connection to the battery terminals.

The use of the solar charger is simple because the system is pre-connected: First, connect the alligator clips to the corresponding battery terminals. Then place the photovoltaic panel in a location where it is exposed to sunlight as vertically as possible - if there are no obstacles, it should face south with an inclination of 35-40 degrees from the horizontal plane. Keep in mind that when sunlight passes through glass, its efficiency is significantly reduced.
