    There is no metal ironing board cover anywhere for its dimensions. So, I have put a narrower one, resulting in not being able to use its full width. For me, the metal cover is absolutely necessary. I paid a lot for it (90 euros, and elsewhere it was much more expensive), to get it wide, and I can't make use of it.
    However, it has a stable base and seems to be a sturdy construction

The Stiroplus Prestige 2 ironing board has a 123 x 48 cm surface that is heat-resistant and specially treated to allow steam to circulate. Its rest supports both ironing systems and standard irons, while the height adjusts to 8 positions for ironing curtains, sheets and other large fabrics. The adjustable, non-slip feet adapt to uneven floors. The cover has an inner lining and is washable at 30°C.
