This work is a concise article-by-article interpretation of the new Criminal Code (Law 4619/2019) and is updated until Law 4637/2019 (Government Gazette A' 180/18.11.2019).

Under each provision, interpretative comments, explanatory thoughts, and comparative observations between the provisions of the current and previous legislation are provided. Additionally, any issues of historical law or the application of more lenient laws that may arise are highlighted. Most provisions briefly mention some key interpretative problems, many of which had already arisen under the previous legal regime and are expected to continue to concern legal practitioners in the future. At the same time, there is extensive reference to the most important case law and literature related to each provision. Subsequently, the text of the new Criminal Code is presented, along with a table of correspondence between the new and old provisions of the Criminal Code.

The work is supplemented with a practical alphabetical index, which assists the reader in searching for the issues of interest.
