Connemara Distillers Edition Peated Single Malt is the only Irish single malt whiskey with peat available today. Inspired by the 18th-century art of drying malted barley over peat fires, Connemara has a distinctive peaty taste and aroma, instilling a subtle smoke and soft, sweet flavor. The Distillers Edition has been created by aging small batches of Connemara in Oloroso sherry casks to bring out a complex fusion of peat, malt, honey, wood, and silky smoothness, characteristic of much older whiskeys.
