While the material and color are flawless, it caused stringing even after double drying. It doesn't settle at all, stay away!! Tested on A1. Prints well for 2 hours and then starts dripping again. Never again!
* After half a spool of printing on each, there are more negatives. The main issue is that the line "breaks" and if it happens on the first layer and you're printing facedown, you have a problem. Also, if it happens on the outer wall, you have a problem again. One of the 2 silks I got was perfectly wound and the other was unacceptable, tangled and jammed everywhere. It barely clogged twice and once gave an error of insufficient flow rate (???). The seam looks terrible, the contour and hole drip outside, so I could only manage contour at 5mm! The stringing never stopped no matter how much I dried them in the dryer. After countless tests, it seemed that the simple PLA profile from both the printer AND the slicer responds better than any silk profile.
Guys, honestly, I will not choose it again even if asked. I will look for something else. Really many hours of headache with the settings. Yes, the result is amazing, very beautiful, but what's the use when I'm struggling with it. There are much better options at the same price.
Ενώ σαν υλικό και χρώμα ειναι άψογο, με τίναξε στο stringing ακόμα και μετά απο διπλό στέγνωμα. Δεν στρώνει με τίποτα, μακρυά!! Δοκιμάστηκε σε A1. Τυπώνει καλά για 2 ώρες και μετά ξανά στάζει. Ποτέ ξανά!

Το seam φαίνεται τρισάθλιο, το contour and hole σταζει απεξω άρα μόνο contour στα 5mm μπόρεσα να βγαλω! Το stringing δεν σταμάτησε ποτέ όσο κι αν τα στεγνωσα στο dryer. Μετά απο άπειρες δοκιμές φάνηκε ότι το απλό προφίλ PLA και απο τον εκτυπωτη ΚΑΙ απο το slicer, ανταποκρίνεται καλύτερα από οποιοδήποτε silk profile.
Παιδιά, ειλικρινά δεν θα το ξαναπροτιμησω ακόμα κι αν μου ζητηθεί. Θα ψάξω κατι άλλο. Πραγματικά πολλές ώρες σπαζοκεφαλιάς με τα settings. Ναι μεν το αποτέλεσμα τα σπάει, είναι πολύ όμορφο αλλα τι να το κάνω όταν παλεύω μαζί του. Στην ίδια τιμή έχει πολύ καλύτερες επιλογές.

It is not as on the photo. This is a new version of eSun PLA. It is much worse! It clogged my nozzel a few times and in the end I had to change it. I will never use that brand again.

I can't say much about all the esun threads, I haven't had any problems with whatever I've bought. But the rainbow one, in order to change color, you have to apply, very slow change and it has few colors inside, otherwise it prints fine.

Excellent and very impressive color. It needs a little bit of playing with the extruder temperature just for the smoothness, 205-210 for me on the Artilery Sidewinder
