The new edition of the book with the above title, authored by Edimol. Arch. Teacher of the Gospel and Professor of the Holy Theological School of Chalki, Reverend Bishop Vasileios Stavridis, has been published in excellent volume.

The new edition was first presented at the feast of the Holy Bishopric of Princes' Islands on October 23, after the festive Divine Liturgy at the Holy Metropolitan Cathedral of Panagia of Pringipou.

The thoughts of the Shepherd, on the occasion of the new edition, were read by the Protosyncellus of the Holy Diocese of Princes' Islands, Most Reverend Hieromonk Fr. Vasileios Karatzikos, in which among other things the following are mentioned: `... In the year 1924, it was deemed appropriate for the Princes' Islands, which were part of the Holy Diocese of Chalcedon, to become a new autonomous Holy Diocese of the Ecumenical Throne.

And after this decision, from the year 1924 onward, the service of the Holy Diocese of Princes' Islands has always been a continuous ecclesiastical and spiritual offering to the Orthodox person, a persistent experiential living of the spiritual fruits of faith in the process of sanctification of the Orthodox residents of the Islands, a vigilant care for the sacred interests of the four Orthodox Communities, and an tireless effort to preserve and safeguard the apostolic Tradition and the Phanariot Tradition.
