THEOLOGY AND THE ORTHODOX CHURCH is a scholarly series dedicated to publishing or reissuing studies and manuals for higher education focused on interpreting the faith of the Orthodox Church as a doctrinal expression and textual record.
This are presented through patristic research and conciliar praxis, considering modern interpretative approaches and the contribution of Orthodox Theology today, as well as in relation to the historical development and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will include studies related to the Christian world, the dialogue between the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other confessions, and more generally with the modern individual.
The series begins with the reissue of the work by the late Professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukis of the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that marks the culmination of a creative theological journey in Thessaloniki with international impact.
