The General Part of Greek Criminal Law is explored in this work, aiming to present a system that will satisfy – as much as possible – the needs of the theoretical researcher, the practical interpreter/applier, and the student.

It is up to the reader to ascertain – at least with the leniency that characterizes them – whether this purpose has been achieved. The references to the literature and case law have been selected to be sufficient for the complete information of the reader, while not overburdening the extent of the work.

This selection does not imply that works or decisions not included in the references have not been taken into account, nor, of course, that they are evaluated negatively. The extensive alphabetical index makes the work more user-friendly. Only the main general works are mentioned in the bibliography.
