"Much time passes, taking out his songs; he releases them into foreign mouths, stealing soil and sweat, two fibers of flesh hidden in the teeth. They memorize curses and swear words, vows, and the vowels of desire. Turning, he breaks his lead soldiers, takes the eraser, pulls a strong one into his body, and then comes out again, until the word that is not a monument hits him in the chest."
