This atlas includes 176 isoseismal maps for the most significant known earthquakes of the Balkans that occurred between 426 BC and 1995.

On each map, all known macro seismic intensities of the corresponding earthquake are charted, and synthetic isoseismal curves are drawn.

For each earthquake, important additional macro seismic information derived from the processing of macro seismic data is also provided, such as macro seismic intensity, focal depth, and the directionality of seismic radiation.
