        After almost 2 years of daily use (5-6 coffees a week), I have to say that this machine must be the best machine I've ever bought. Fantastic espresso with good crema and the steam wand for frothing milk for a home machine exceeded my expectations. As a cappuccino lover, I appreciate that it makes such good froth. Initially, you need to learn how the machine works, but having some experience as a barista in cafes, after the first week I managed to make cappuccinos like in the shops. It's all about technique. As for the coffee grinder, I would say it's good with the only downside being that it makes a lot of mess; unfortunately, the cover around it doesn't help much. But beyond that, I would say the machine is worth it and more, without reservation!

        After years of using notable automatic machines and not in my store for personal use, I decided to get something for home, since it seemed functionally similar to the Sage Barista Express that I have now. Unfortunately, I wonder about the reviews I saw, I mean how amateurish do you have to be to like something like this 5/5. Very small group (51mm) compared to other cheap machines 53-54mm. The coffee grinder adjustment is truly laughable, at 1 which is the smallest, it grinds the coffee as if it’s dirt, not even half of what another simple machine does. Extraction like water even with 18 grams of coffee at the smallest setting, excessive pressure. Steam, and even if you are a super barista, frothing milk is very difficult to achieve properly. 3 out of 5 only because it still produces better coffee compared to some automatics. In this budget, get a simple machine with a group, there are plenty at €100-150, and just as much for a very good grinder for that money and you’re set for home.

        Everything is a matter of the barista or, in any case, the person who makes the coffee. For me, as a barista, it's just fine. Every coffee has its own grind, but the quality of the coffee you get also plays an important role. Personally, if you know 5 basic things about coffee and want to experiment, it's worth buying it a thousand times over. On the other hand, if you're the type who doesn't want to dirty your counter with coffee grounds and can't be bothered to clean the machine after each use, then it's better to get a Nespresso, which is ridiculously easy to use... Capsule, button, and you drink "coffee".

        UPDATE: 13/4/2025 The grinder's dial is stuck, so I can't change the grind setting. Also, it doesn't keep the extraction time that I set.

            After almost 2 years of daily use (5-6 coffees a week), I have to say that this machine must be the best machine I've ever bought. Fantastic espresso with good crema and the steam wand for frothing milk for a home machine exceeded my expectations. As a cappuccino lover, I appreciate that it makes such good froth. Initially, you need to learn how the machine works, but having some experience as a barista in cafes, after the first week I managed to make cappuccinos like in the shops. It's all about technique. As for the coffee grinder, I would say it's good with the only downside being that it makes a lot of mess; unfortunately, the cover around it doesn't help much. But beyond that, I would say the machine is worth it and more, without reservation!

            After years of using notable automatic machines and not in my store for personal use, I decided to get something for home, since it seemed functionally similar to the Sage Barista Express that I have now. Unfortunately, I wonder about the reviews I saw, I mean how amateurish do you have to be to like something like this 5/5. Very small group (51mm) compared to other cheap machines 53-54mm. The coffee grinder adjustment is truly laughable, at 1 which is the smallest, it grinds the coffee as if it’s dirt, not even half of what another simple machine does. Extraction like water even with 18 grams of coffee at the smallest setting, excessive pressure. Steam, and even if you are a super barista, frothing milk is very difficult to achieve properly. 3 out of 5 only because it still produces better coffee compared to some automatics. In this budget, get a simple machine with a group, there are plenty at €100-150, and just as much for a very good grinder for that money and you’re set for home.

            Everything is a matter of the barista or, in any case, the person who makes the coffee. For me, as a barista, it's just fine. Every coffee has its own grind, but the quality of the coffee you get also plays an important role. Personally, if you know 5 basic things about coffee and want to experiment, it's worth buying it a thousand times over. On the other hand, if you're the type who doesn't want to dirty your counter with coffee grounds and can't be bothered to clean the machine after each use, then it's better to get a Nespresso, which is ridiculously easy to use... Capsule, button, and you drink "coffee".

            UPDATE: 13/4/2025 The grinder's dial is stuck, so I can't change the grind setting. Also, it doesn't keep the extraction time that I set.
