The Aruba Instant On AP12 access point is useful for creating or expanding a wireless network to connect multiple devices.
It supports WiFi mesh, a comprehensive home WiFi system with multiple access points designed to eliminate dead zones and provide seamless WiFi throughout the home, with higher speeds and more devices.
It broadcasts signals on two frequencies:
- 2.4GHz: The most widespread frequency with a long range.
- 5GHz: Offers higher speed but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g., walls) that reduce its range.
The 5GHz frequency has fewer interferences from other networks due to its more limited use.
It is Wi-Fi 5 generation, the most widespread Wi-Fi standard, capable of meeting the needs of most users at present. There is also the next generation Wi-Fi 6, which offers the ability to connect many more devices to accommodate the increasing number of smart devices in a home.
