Excellent. Better than bottled water, no irony. Good water flow for what it is. 2-3 seconds longer to fill a simple glass compared to regular tap water. Be careful with the igniters; if the plastic wears out, you'll need to find replacements. I saw female replacements sold individually, but the male ones are only sold in sets that include all 4 as they originally come together. I got the set for 5 euros from a store after A LOT of searching. I hope to save someone the hassle.
IMPORTANT!!! The lady at the store told me that something is going on with the suppliers in Japan and they have stopped sending both the filter and its replacements, and they are waiting to hear news for now. Because many other users have noticed, like I did, a decrease in availability and increased prices. 14/02/2024
Note: this adapter is very useful if you can't find a male adapter and you can essentially connect a female adapter to a faucet with a female socket. https://www.skroutz.gr/s/50300417/Waterfresh-Antaptoras-gia-Filtra-Nerou-EG-PF-22-24.html?adv_c=o3ymig%3D%3D--xtGGfMjXiYWPGVVu--96DUNp%2F1IXSNB%2BBjFvNTTA%3D%3D

  • I used to prefer these when they had the little glass window. At some point they disappeared from the market and when they reappeared, they had changed drastically. Specifically, the lid was removed, so you could no longer see the condition of the filter through the glass. And even worse, they put a small hole at the top that acts as a relief valve. If the filter starts to "age," you'll see it start to drip. It needs to be changed because at some point you'll forget, you'll turn on the tap, and the water will go up to the ceiling from the pressure. I wouldn't particularly mind that it forces you to change it, what bothers me is that it never gets close to the 1500 liters. With typical consumption for a family of 4 at 25 liters (maybe I'm even saying too much), it should last 2 months. Here, it barely lasts a month... Very unlikely I will buy again

The only drawback is that you can't see from above when it needs changing. Very bad move by the company to remove this feature. Also, I am bothered by the flow in this form; I would prefer it to be like a regular faucet. Now, I don't notice a significant difference, because the water in my area isn't very hard, since it only removes chlorine and odors but not salts

It does its job properly but from what I understand the old ones used to open so you could see if it needed changing, I mean now it's sealed. That's bad because you can't know when it needs changing

it was the best solution for water filtration. however, after an upgrade was made and the replacement part changed, apart from the fact that it doesn't open from the top to see if it needs changing, after 1-1.5 months the flow decreases to the point where you wait an hour to fill a glass. meanwhile, it's a bit strange that all the replacement parts in all the houses where I've installed it have the same issue; one could say they've somehow set it up so the flow stops so you have to replace it. now this difference makes it not worthwhile compared to other filters...

Classic case of reduced quality and increased price, making the product not a worthwhile purchase at all.
What most people say is true.
Extremely reduced lifespan compared to older replacements.
The company's argument about water hardness in some cases is invalid, as almost everyone reports the same problem, obviously living in many different parts of Greece.
Based on the above, change company, otherwise it's better to buy bottles, it's more cost-effective!

The new version of the replacement part is much inferior to the old one. The flow drops when the remaining amount falls below 500 liters, and recently we also had the leak shown in the photo.

[Update 18.03.2026] The fountains at the top, where the lid breaks, now reach the ceiling, even though there was a useful remainder of around 400 liters. We will completely change it; it is pointless to wait any longer after so much time.

As everyone writes, the filter is no longer worth it. It doesn't even last a month, if you're lucky enough for it to work without leaking everywhere. It's a shame because they used to be very good filters. With a little research I did, from 2025 the MK Series filter cartridges (e.g. MKC-EG) changed materials in the casing to comply with Regulation (EU) 10/2011 for plastics in contact with food. The company states that the filtering medium (fibers + activated carbon) remains the same, so the cleaning performance has not changed. But obviously the build quality has changed, and in no case is it worth the 25-30 euros

For some strange reason, they changed the construction of the filter and now you can't see the condition of the filter inside. Also, after a year of use, even though the faucet is turned to the network water, it does not completely block the supply inside the filter and it drips

I have had the Toray mechanism for about a year and a half. It was recommended to me as excellent, and indeed the water comes out crystal clear. However, the first one, after two weeks of use, started leaking water from the top. The second filter I changed worked fine, although the water flow weakens within a month, and the third and last filter showed the same problem; after two weeks of use, the water flow decreased and it started leaking water from the top. I don't know, of course, if the water in the area is to blame (I live on an island). But that is the purpose of filters.

Although I was reading negative comments lately, I bought it again and after 2.5 months of use I have had no problems. I have been using this particular filter for more than 5 years. I read that after 2 months the water flow decreases a lot and it is difficult to fill a jug. I have not noticed any reduction in flow after 2.5 months of use. If the water is muddy, whatever filter you use will get clogged.

Now either the filters are fake, or they are genuine and they have just greatly reduced the quality. As other users also mention, the filter quickly loses its effectiveness, almost before half of its supposed lifespan, while the cap that used to be there to check the condition of the filter has now been replaced by a permanent cover that cannot be removed.

Guys, if your Toray filter gets clogged, then the water coming from the supply has a lot of dirt and mud. The Toray will do its job and hold them back, but it will clog sooner. I solved my problem at the cottage by putting a thread in the supply to hold the dirt, thus protecting the Toray and preventing it from clogging

the lid on top is glued and you can't see if it needs to be replaced while the old ones had it normally.

  • decent for its money as some others have said in the past it was superior there is now a drop in quality plus the fact that the lid no longer opens from the top it is stuck.

it was the best solution for water filtration. however, after an upgrade was made and the replacement part changed, apart from the fact that it doesn't open from the top to see if it needs changing, after 1-1.5 months the flow decreases to the point where you wait an hour to fill a glass. meanwhile, it's a bit strange that all the replacement parts in all the houses where I've installed it have the same issue; one could say they've somehow set it up so the flow stops so you have to replace it. now this difference makes it not worthwhile compared to other filters...

It was a perfect filter and now you can't see what stage it's at, resulting in having no idea when you need to change it. Additionally, I put in a new one two months ago and today it broke. This is the first time it has happened

The top best value for money in the Greek market. It's like drinking bottled water. I was finally freed from bottled water and all that plastic. Buy it with your eyes closed. The Japanese excel in this field as well.

But that is the purpose of filters.

when the water flow drops significantly (I leave it until it almost drips) then it's time to change the filter, about every 2-3 months, in the summer maybe every 2 months without calculating precisely, it's worth trusting it!!!

After a while the filter loses its effectiveness and by the time the new updated version does not allow you to check on the filters condition it’s not so reliable. I have been using it for more than 5 years and I think after all these it’s time for a change

I don't know what has happened with the company, but since they stopped making filters with a removable lid so you can see the color of the thread and throw it away, I need a filter change every month because it gets clogged. This is the last time I buy. I will install it with another filter.

I have been using it for many years and I considered it the best filter of its kind on the market. I was disappointed by the new version because its flow was significantly reduced after three months and now I can no longer check the pollution inside it.

I am coming back to say that this filter is a scam. I got a TDS meter and measured the tap water and the filtered water to compare them. 192 ppm for both. So it doesn't filter anything. Note, the replacement was brand new.

  • The only drawback is that you can't see from above when it needs changing. Very bad move by the company to remove this feature. Also, I am bothered by the flow in this form; I would prefer it to be like a regular faucet. Now, I don't notice a significant difference, because the water in my area isn't very hard, since it only removes chlorine and odors but not salts

    Translated from Greek ·

  • It does its job properly but from what I understand the old ones used to open so you could see if it needed changing, I mean now it's sealed. That's bad because you can't know when it needs changing
