It is known that the Greek language has influenced all European and, to some extent, non-European languages.

However, it is unknown how many words of Homer, whose texts are the oldest in the world, are scattered in European languages today. The present dictionary of international words of Homer reveals that every European language today uses at least 5,000 words that originate from Homeric dialect or have been taken directly from there.

It can be argued without hesitation that European languages are not of Latin origin but clearly of Homeric origin. It is important to emphasize this because ancient Greek derives its origin from Homer, so it is more substantial and fair to say that European (Japhetic) linguistic unity originates from the oldest texts of Homer, whose dialect has roots in Linear Script B, as many linguistic fossils over the years have been identified with words from LS B.
